Because auto sandboxing goes against usability and is a pain to whitelist stuff and then run it again so it can work properly.
Popup should be added
It’s some days older, don’t matter, so I think, too. I appeared only once for a longer time. I was on the phone with Microsoft but they couldn’t help and didn’t know what to do (connection to my computer - remote support). The advice: to install windows again - i didn’t it and no more demand to activate Windows.
I also had the problem with “Windows activation” but (as I once red somewhere) has to do with Microsoft.
The demand to acticate should disappear after some days again.
I uninstalled CIS because:
- The firewall doesn’t disable Windows Defender firewall and this cause conflicts sometimes.
- The scan exclusions applies to all scans (real-time , manual and scheduled) while it should have options to enable exclusions separately for each scan profile.
- No anti-exploit
- No ransomware shield
- No data shredder
You should imitate from Avast because of its usability and features.
Hi nati_davar,
Responded as you posted in other section as well:

uninstalled COMODO cause its too slow to respond, I only use the firewall but its too slow in respond, sometimes it takes 10-20sec to pop up, my favorite version was 5.x cause it was really simple and fast, right now im using netlimiter, its nothing compare to COMODO and sometimes its confusing, wish i could still use 5.x on windows 10
looking forward to see that amazing firewall again.
Best regards,
Hi cavalier3003,
Is it possible to share msinfo32.exe output via personal message?
We would like to see your environment and try to find the reason.
Thanks

its not only my problem at least i know 4 other people did the same, they quit COMODO cause of being too slow and causing some connection problems,
It is very difficult to guess the reason, if you can help troubleshoot, we may be able to solve it.
As said in an other thread by ???: “Not detect but protect!”
[QUOTE]With cis configured properly ( cruelsiters settings ) there is no need for a seperate exploit blocker , nor ransomeware shield. It is a powerhouse on it’s own. Lightweight and like fort knox!!

And as already mentioned by me (comodo almost from the beginning):
I have always been protected.
Hi guys,
I was missing for a while … I come back and I find these jokes! ;D
I uninstalled Comodo firewall version 11 because Windows 10 core isolation memory integrity no longer functions with CIS installed. After installing Comodo I was receiving Windows notifications that the sandbox was incompatible and the firewall would not start with memory integrity enabled. Even when all components were disabled except the firewall, it would not start.
Too bad, maybe Comodo could take the suggestions from its’ users and create JUST a firewall component that doesn’t break Windows.
I have used Comodo since it’s inception many years ago, but I refuse to use any program that breaks the functionality (and security) of the operating system on which it’s installed. So because of this I consider Comodo firewall to be critically flawed now, and a security risk.
Hi aweir14150,
Team will be in touch to diagnose.
Thanks for feedback

Because of this, and won’t use Comodo Firewall until you fix it, I’m using Windows Firewall and it’s pretty much OK, and to the a-hole that appears on that YT video he can technically ■■■■ off the Internet, since he is completely useless a-hole, technically… because if he says technically, that makes his and my comment OK, right? I’m also looking for your Firewall replacement, I made a search a few years back, when V3 was released and it was a stupid mess that it blocked itself as a Firewall and as a D+ hahaha, hilarious, clearly a bug but now you come with this intentional ■■■■, so years ago not much competition, but now a lot, some are even worth the try, I thought you were pro-people, not pro-corp with an a-hole attitude. but looks like I was wrong, too bad, well this is where we part ways Comodo, it was nice while it lasted, 10+ years, probably I won’t come back, even if you fix this, you have become more more an ■■■■■■■ company, that doesn’t listen to people, 1 example is that you made your android app payed, the very place where most apps are free, so not really worth wait for you, good riddance!
Like in the linked topic this is another diatribe. I am afraid nobody did read the linked topic because of it.
You could make a wish in CIS - Wishlist board following the required format. That way your wish will certainly be seen by Comodo.
Please don’t respond to this in this topic. This topic is only for reporting why you uninstalled CIS. If you would post here I move the post to the Forum Policy Violation board where you can continue your diatribe.
I state that I do not have a new PC, it’s about 10 years old. It is a laptop with 4 GB of RAM, 150 GB of hard disk and an intel core 2 processor.
When starting the PC, the CIS icon appears in some cases even after 5 minutes together with all the remaining CIS processes. Then after not problems of slowness of the PC, the problem arises only when restarting or turning on the PC. Please solve, I really like CIS. The same problem also with CAV. Now in the meantime I am using CCAV which is not from these problems.
Thank you! ![]()
Nunzio.
Has this problem been solved with the latest version of CIS?
I uninstalled comodo (I wanted to keep the firewall only)
so I uninstalled it, and then restarted etc.
but then Windows 10 LTSC, wasn’t able to find the user interface file of windows Defender : MSASCui.exe
meaning I cannot open the windows security panel/window
I also had the error 577 in the services.msc window when I tried to restart defender.
so basically I had to re-install comodo antivirus, for now. until I format windows.
second issue, the reason I wanted to uninstall comodo AV:
I excluded 4 hard drives from the scan, I have my reason. (nothing was detected anyway)
I like my hard drive to go sleep mode, meaning spin down and stay “off”. (for the noise)
but every time (every minutes or every 10minutes) comodo AV wakes up the drive, making a lot of noise etc
I checked with Procmon.exe, it was cmdagent.exe trying to access the drive. (it did not scan files, just the root of the drives)
really annoying.
Hi
I decided to uninstall Comodo because the web protection is really too weak. Until now I used the product k9 to provide this protection. But the latter is no longer develloped. I have tried several URLs and the COMODO results are catastrophic.
I will maybe keep the firewall part. I have been using Comodo since version 2. There have been a lot of improvements over the years. Too bad that over the years the web protection was not improved. I also regret the lack of assistance. I asked questions about the forum that never got an answer. Too bad !
I always keep an eye and hope to return quickly to this program that I love.

Have you tried using COS to improve web protection?
