You will be protected because @FlorinG Alredy blacklisted this files and they are in database
Guys, you have to know that this doesnāt mean much. Some of these malware are not prevalent at all, that is, they were added to the CIS but will not be detected on any computer.
CIS itself sends unknown files for analysis, which causes the addition of really prevalent malware (which was downloaded to the PC). These are the priority.
It isnāt all that relevant in truth but people seem to still be obsessed with the latest signatures when CF / CIS will sandbox any unknown anyway and therefore your system is fully protected even if itās a file without a signature Iāve tried to explain this many times but deaf earsā¦ Anyway, youāre fully protected whether you have the latest signature or not though it would be nice to see Comodo improve the AV Engine.
Exactly my friend, but what we want to see is that the CIS does well in detection, even if it makes a difference to a few people here on the forum.
But it is very relevant.
For example, if there was good detection, the CIS would not be bypassed by the POC.
New Pack and @FlorinG Is alredy adding them as Malicious
Detection rate for now 80.5%
If I take a computer virus package and send it to Valkyrie, I, who use CIS, will benefit from the detection since I sent it to Valkyrie and CIS does not have support for it.
Xcitium Client Security has Valkyrie but CIS no it does not have it only haves FLS(Comodo)
Im afraid to say that Comodo 2025 will NEVER Have Valkyrie
It is only for Xcitiumā¦
Comodo 2025 will only have FLS(Comodo) and thats it
I really wished there was Valkyrie in Comodo 2025ā¦
but looks like it will never be it will be only FLS(Comodo) but still @FlorinG does a very good job at blacklisting the files so i dont care if there will be no Valkyrie
As long as @FlorinG is blacklisting the files we all are good and protected
Now knowing this, itās no longer worth reporting any more malware to Valkyrie, since I donāt use XCITIUM.
And unfortunately I come to the conclusion that detection will always remain bad.
Now I understand why I would send a malicious file for analysis and get a verdict, but my CIS didnāt have any response.
Even when I sent a program to Valkyrie and it was considered a clean file, my CIS informed me that it was unknown.
Now I understand everything.
Valkyrie will be of no use to anyone who uses CIS, unfortunately.
The detection in CIS 2025 is verry good @FlorinG is blacklisting the files but its very sad to see that there will be no Valkyrie in CISā¦
Thatās why anyone who uses CIS will never have the quality of XCITIUM.
Even if they say that XCITIUM and CIS are the same thing. This is a big lie. we can see from what weāve already talked about here.
Yes Even tho CIS and Xcitium are the same company and share the same code they do not have the same features
For exeample Xcitium has Valkyrie and CIS has FLS(Comodo) and not only Xcitium has Valkyrie but it also has the detection name detected by Valkyrie for exeample:
Valkyrie.Auto.Malware@1 or Valkyrie.Manual.Malware@1(Human Expert Verdict)
But the detection in Xcitium is much much better compared to CIS which uses FLS(Comodo a.k.a @FlorinG and other AV Guys) and thats because Xcitium has Valkyrie and the detection names for Valkyrie
Valkyrie.Auto.Malware@1 and Valkyrie.Manual.Malware@1
I was already here setting up a virtual machine to send various malware to Valkyrie, but why would I do that?
If Iām not going to get results in CIS.
Now if XCITIUM implements Valkyrie in the comodo, then yes, it would continue to import malware to the base.
At least you can see the verdict malware/safe
