New version 2.0.2.12

Folks,

Reporting CMF just updated to 2.0.2.12, no problems so far.Change log anyone?.
Memory usage seems reduced by quit a bit for cmf.exe, currently only 1,728K. Excellent.

Regards,
serta

Noticed that too, funny that egemen hasn’t posted about it yet. I think you’ll get a change log when egemen posts a topic about 2.0.2.12 being available for download.

Cheers,
Ragwing

Got it too now. No more “RC” in the title bar…

Maybe this was the same as in the previous version, but I noticed that in the Settings, “Automatically start application with windows” (yes, windows, not Windows) is not checked. I guess it refers to starting the GUI on boot up. Maybe a bit confusing, people could think that they have to check that box in order to actually start CMF when Windows boots.

it has been released as a full product… the announcement is to follow shortly…
the main site can be found here

Just got this update - is it just me or is the Comodo theme not applied to the update window?

So I’m not crazy? The previous Updater had a theme, but not this one?

LA

Yeah, I’ve just updated and the RC updater had a theme - after downloading/ updating and restarting CMF = no-theme. I am trying a fresh install. I hope this isn’t a bug already :o.

UPDATE: Bug still exists after fresh install!

Jim

Melih, just a detail:

Comodo Memory Firewall Version 2.0.0.0 - System Requirements Operating Systems
* Windows Vista (Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions)
* Windows XP (Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions)
* Windows Server 2003 SP1 (32 bit and 64 bit versions)

Hardware

* RAM (64 MB)
* Hard Disk Space required is 4MB for 32-bit OS and 8MB for 64-bit OS</blockquote>

You may want to replace the red 2.0.0.0 with 2.0.2.12.

/LA

Yeah, seems like they forgot it or choosed to not use it for the updater.

Okay
By the way, I’m not sure, but on the webpage it says Detection of corrupted/bad SEH Chains, is this newly added to the final version? I haven’t heard about it before.

Cheers,
Ragwing

Hiya,
does anyone know if CMF will soon be integrated into CFP now that it’s a final?
Have a nice day everyone.
Cheers

By the way, I'm not sure, but on the webpage it says Detection of corrupted/bad SEH Chains, is this newly added to the final version? I haven't heard about it before.

It’s either Taking Care (of business) or Thermal Conductivity

If not Soya’s suggestions, it may be Comodo TrustConnect.

LA

I’m not touching it until Vista license issues are solved or at least problem properly documented as solved or non existent.

using the updater, the update went smoothly (i left my comp, got something to do), when i get back, got this on update window :
unable to copy update cmfupdat.exe
and when i tried to update CMF once again, got this :
updater module not found, please reinstall software
:‘( :’(

The update went fine for me! Now the final it out! Cangrats Comodo!!! Can’t wait for it to be Integrated in CFP 3.

Well just uninstall it Ganda then install the final from the main website.

Josh.

OK, reinstalling went smoothly. (:CLP) , i still miss the old CMG icon

Just manually updatred the Comodo Memory Firewall.
Thought I had the top 2 boxes checked in Settings ?

Automatically start this application with windows and Automatically check for updates.

As I said I had to manually start the update process, and when I checked settings the top box was unchecked.

For full protection should these top 2 boxes default to have a check mark in both of the top 2 boxes under Settings?
