COMODO Internet Security 5 BETA Wishlist

This is done. You will have it in tomorrows beta release.

It is always blocked. There is no allow log in D+.

Remove all the tabs “summary” and “task” from the interface. there is only one “tab” for each page on the navigation bar (summary, AV, FireWall, Defence etc.) - while there are no longer any general/advanced sections - the additional “tabbing” is not needed any more. :stuck_out_tongue:

glad to hear. but actually I do not know where to find the latest releases. I see only the https://forums.comodo.com/beta-corner-cis/comodo-internet-security-501573021066-beta-released-t60016.0.html topic. but there is no update there, or I do not see it.

also my installation shows that 1066 is the most current version (no updates).

can you please guide me where to find the latest releases? sorry - it’s because I am new to the forum.

another thing that came to my mind - cosmetic one:

  • the navigation bar shows: Summary, AV, Fire, Defence, More

  • the summary section shows: AV, Defence, Firewall

the sequence is that what bothers me. Firewall and Defence are switched places. think defence+ should be always after AV and before firewall as it is “file-related” (like AV is), and firewall is “connection-related”.

no matter the final sequence - generally it should be the same.

Hi!
I miss the function of cleaning the sandbox. Something like DefenseWall ;D

i would like a button on the summary page that lets the user terminate all programs in the sandbox. the button should say empty sandbox

Sweet!

Um when I tried to reply again it says something about having to wait 1 second. That should be wait 1 minute.

That and it keeps telling me I already made this reply and might be trying to double post, when clearly I did not.

I think comodo should make use of Threatcast. Cloud AV, BB and Whitelist are very good features in CIS2011. Threatcast can do something with file analyzing and comunnity statistics. An unrecognized file in CIS clients is submitted to COMODO Server for analyzing. Some of those can be difined white file or black file at once. But others need more time to be analyzed by technicians. Threatcast, digital signatures and file lifetime can be seen as reference. Threatcast can be developed into a useful tool as Norton Insight. Cloud community(Threatcast) and Cloud AV, BB, Whitelist are perfect Cloud Security in CIS2011.

In addition, CIS should close down Windows firewall and Windows Defender automatically after installing.

Agree with you! :-TU

I wish Sandbox didn’t take over at installation.

When starting Windows after installing CIS, most of my startup programs are put in the Sandbox against my wishes! There are so many alerts popping up, that I can’t get to the Comodo Tray Icon in order to turn off the Sandbox. It’s a wild scene with stuff flying all over the place! ;D

It would also be nice if there were a list of “Sandboxed Items”, with an option to remove them from the Sandbox.

Many thanks,

Calm down and check all the stuff patiently.
