does cloud scanning have to be enable for the AV to be used as cloud AV?
i mean how do i switch from download AV defs to Cloud?

You can’t switch. The antivirus works as both: the local scanning and sending the files to the cloud if it is unknown.
A minor addition to what Tech said.
The real time scanner is built in cloud enabled, no options.
The Manual and Scheduled scans have check boxes in settings window
to enable/disable cloud involvement.

I think this person means when there is a pop up (i forget which one) it says always trust the publisher of this file.
As I understood if you unticked this box it was a easy way of not using the Trusted Vendors List.
Your only choice would be to delete entries from the list now.
I don’t think that will help, the trusted vendors are now dynamic and are added/removed by online lookup…
Not so fast scanning of the critical areas.It must be under 10 minutes, for such type of scan.

Did you guys reset the whitelist database? Files that were previously Comodo Trusted and now Unknown.
I don’t see anything saying scanned on-line and found safe in D+ events either.
Now programs like Steam and Pidgin, which were declared Unknown despite them being previously Comodo Trusted, are now missing from both Unrecognized Files and Trusted Files. They’re now declared “Trusted” but there’s no event about it in the events log, and they’re not in the Trusted Files list. What’s going on?
