Comodo Internet Security 2019 v12.2.1.6950 Beta 2 is now available for download

Can you point to moment(s) in the video that show the system getting infected by a malware in the Downloads folder?

I had this on a test PC, I did not uncheck “Do not virtualize access to” specified files and folders “”. And the infection occurred, after launching the malware from the “Downloads” folder. You can check for fresh malware yourself.

one way to fix this is to prevent isolated applications from creating, deleting, modifying … (applications safe or unknown and malware)

Why is there such a delay with the release of the new version, even if it will be beta 3? More than two months have passed …

By default, you can disable "Do not virtualize access to specified files and folders " and this will save you trouble. My opinion.

@megaherz33 There have been big changes in the CIS team. I guess that plays a role but I have some good news:

We have planned RC release on this Thursday. We don’t have a lot of fixes in this release but After that RC, We have solved many bugs for the upcoming release, and we are trying to fix almost all bugs.
I am as much looking forward to the RC as I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I am happy to see that after the RC there will be a serious amount of bug fixes. I am cautiously optimistic and hoping CIS team is getting on steady path.

Best !!!
Great news !!!

How is this news great? The same word for word was said last time. If you don’t release a new version before the end of the week, you can safely relax until autumn

My good news is that my PC is still protected (with 6828) and the PC is running stable!

I nearly don’t dare to say this: I let my PC once more running with 6950 (only a few days so far) and I don’t dare say anything!

Waiting RC to experience)

:P0l

for that video

you can always use cruelsisters config with block unrecognized not virtualized untrusted/restricted

I understand RC today will not be?

Time zone was not specified. There is still time.

Still now no problems as before during few days. 88)

I have a proxy-server connected, but the update to the RC did not come :frowning:

For 10 years of using the CIS, such a delay for the first time. This is alarming.

Maybe they follow the South African motto. “Do not fix until broken beyond repair”.

maybe we better move to dragon platform with just click button at the top right of the forum

First report after a week: no freezing, but after closing the virtual desktop and immediately resetting the blue screen. But that would be the least problem.
Have forgotten to remove first with the task manager.
