Launched Virtual Edge from shortcut, did what needed and closed. There are 4 processes left in the container. Clicked âContainer Cleaningâ and BSOD.

CIS 12.2.1.6950 Beta 2
Why is taking so long to new version comes out?
The CIS team has been through significant changes over 2019. All we can do is watch it get back on track at this point in time.
First scan: css as rootkit, then pc crashed with bluescreen. It seems there run too many programs. No problem.
Second quick scan.
Malwarebytes anti-rootkit shows (attachment 2)
eset online scanner complete scanning - about 5 h (attachm. 3)
None of them analyzed comodo as a malware :embarassed:
Still, Iâm a little unsettled! Is the ânewâ Beta-Version more vulnerable? Online-Banking donât show any problems. Are the gmer false alerts?
from 2018:
Hello again NeverLucky,Your FRST logs are clean, the previous GMER alert is false. Unless you have other issues continue to clean up:

I have the same problem for the taskbar but im not in the beta. CISPro 12.1.0.6914
For me it happens when i do system cleans with CCleaner. After a restart it may show the comodo icon as transparent object in taskbar on the Tooltip app icons if i donât restart the app.
I have seen this too with DiskCleaner. (I think it was DiskCleaner. I had done something - perhaps a cleanup operation with NTLite, and the Comodo icon wasnât there. (But I could right click on where it was supposed to be, and the right click menu came up.) As with the previous post, it came back after starting the Comodo app and hasnât gone missing since.
Welcome to windows, please take a sit! ;D ;D
Edge is always running in background tho. Prolly a Windows or Comodo problem on how they try to clean it.
Lol, Antivirus software mask their processes, as most Protection Software. Other software that detect masked software, if they donât have whitelist or if they just report any rootkit behavior, they will report that as a Rootkit / Rootkit behavior. Thatâs why Malwarebytes, etc. donât return you anything. And the why thatâs reporting this is because most Protection Software use some kind of rootkit, virus behavior to protect itself.
I donât know what gmer shows (attachm. 1). I have Window 10. I had a look for Windows versions:
Windows 8.1 (6.3.9600) and Windows 10 (10.0.10xxx+)
Gmer is proposed for advanced users and one should be very careful deleting detected threads by gmer, so Iâve read.

Norman Security Suite considers GMER to be a rootkit. :embarassed:
I donât know what to do? By now Iâve no one problems with my PC: no problems with my Bank account, no spams, no strange behavior from my PC, noâŚ? :-TU
I know that this is the beta and the version im in its not, but i want to see this fixed.
Version: CISPro (12.1.0.6914)
Bug Report:
Thatâs a bug report that has been sended to Comodo by the program, i need to point this:
Comodo crashed again with error: 0xC0000005:
The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.
From what im experiencing this happened because of some Windows features that was On ( Core isolation \ memory integrity ) i disabled it and i got less and no error for now.
Work in the background Edge is disabled for me. This is not the case.
Edge is running in background after you close the program, even if you have disabled background processes.
Changing the settings from Settings Panel or group policy does not stop this. It only stops it from auto strating. If you run it later and close the program by the X icon, it keep running in background.
Microsoft donât care. If they own it, they will run it. ;D hahahaha
Thanks!
The same with Yandex Browser, it does not belong to Windows.
Edge work in offline mode is disabled, I repeat again.
P.S. I am waiting for a new version. We will solve the rest)))
I was joking about the windows but itâs not a lie tho.
Ive come through the same bug again in the past with the sandbox. +1
It will get solved as always. 8)
