For now, you can add the advanced settings button to the tray on your own.
Click the ‘Tasks’ arrow on CIS home screen, then click ‘Advanced Tasks’ and right click on “open advanced settings”. Now you can choose to add it to tray. I did the same on my pc.
Thanks for answer.I did like you said, but it doesn’t add any option to the tray. It does add the icon to widget, but it doesn’t the same, cause I don’t like using widget…
I have windows 7 home, 64 bit, simple user by default.
that’s weird. If you right click on “open advanced settings” what message appears to you?
Now it showing: Remove from Task Bar.
But there no advanced settings in my Task bar…

Please attach a screenshot of your Task Bar.
It is ok?

Okay, now I see the issue. By Task Bar Comodo means that bar on the bottom of the main screen for CIS. This is where all the shortcuts are stored.
I see :)I want these links in my task bar, you can call it “tray bar” if you like:)
The area your are referring to, in Windows, is called the System Tray:
Hi drongo,
Adding extra functions to the right click menu in the Windows notification area icon for the CIS icon sounds like something for the wishlist.
I just installed some programs using Virtual Kiosk and I ran into some problems.
I was interrupted mid-installation of the second of three programs I tried. The installation of this second program was in the initial stages, on the first screen of installation process, showing an intro and asking me to press “next”; nothing was actually being installed yet.
I exited the Virtual Kiosk, and later restarted my computer. The restart hanged. The cause was the installer, which didn’t close but opened a popup window asking whether I wanted to cancel the installation. The installer became visible outside the Kiosk, just behind the shutdown window.
If I start the Kiosk and open Dragon, then exit the Kiosk, the next time I start the Kiosk Dragon is not running anymore, that is, Kiosk closes the running programs. However, this installer didn’t get closed. I had to manually force close it.
The other problem I ran into was that all three programs installed inside the Kiosk actually got installed to the system. They are present in the Start Menu, on the Desktop, and in the Program Files folder.
Are these behaviors expected?
You should submit a bug report.
I thought so. But I’m pressed for time trying to ready the Pt-BR translation, so probably I’ll only have the time once I’m done with it.
I’m curious though if anybody else experiences the same problems.
I installed a game in the kiosk. It worked.
And on my real desktop it wasnt installed.
The installers were located in the Shared Space folder. Could this be the reason?
I believe that is why that happened, although I’m not entirely sure how it works. Hopefully someone can fill in the gaps as to what happens if you install something from the Shared Space folder.
I would say yes, the shared folder isn’t virtualized.
edit: I just tried to install something from “shared space” while in kiosk, it does get a red border around the windows. (like the green border for sandboxed windows). And it did get installed on my real system.
But if i move it from “shared space” to virtual kiosk it works as it should, and no red border.
But the help files should be updated, it clearly says you can move a file to “shared space” and open it from there inside kiosk, without anything happens to the real system.

Hi…
i would like to know if will be new themes for cis 6 in the next updates…
does someone knows??
thanks!
I just installed CIS 6 on the 7th computer in this small town i live in. These are average novice users, that are more then willing to try something that does not cost them $100.00 to buy, then another $100.00 when they get infected. I set each computer up with Chiron’s guide, not one person has had a problem, they were all willing to spend a couple hours, learning the basic functions, and all are happy! ;D
+1
I agree, It only takes a little patience, and not get all flabbergasted (like some people) to understand the Superiority of CIS6!
And even though I am a Gemini, I cannot stand change, and I am quite at ease with this new CIS.
