I was not sure at first if i liked the change or not, as i had been really comfortable with Cis5, but after taking some time, i actually love it… My girlfriend that knows very little about software, is learning it, and loves it also. I have it on a retired farmers system, guy is like almost 70, and after a couple hours, he could run it, and he just loves it.
Yes it does, but that means I’ll have to create a group for every program I have a custom rule for. So it’s double the work. It’s not gonna be like that for the rest of the version… right? I mean the D+ app rules don’t have this problem at all, only the Firewall rules.

I might end up doing that. I figure Comodo Firewall doesn’t get frequent updates. As long as I remember to run it at least once a week or so.
Another issue:
I enabled HIPS. I used to have something similar in v5. But I find HIPS to be quite annoying when I tell it to remember that I had allowed the application to continue doing so. I get several dozen requests from it, asking me if I should allow it or not.
I used to find v5 easier to handle. Is this a bug or does it not register the “remember” checks?
Enabling HIPS doesn’t give additional security in CIS 6. So no need to have them on.
I enabled hips and deactivated other things

The wasted spaces was about the new cis interface, with spaces not so well used, etc

This new CIS 6 doesn’t even look like it’s a firewall. Where are the settings that allow software to access the Internet or not? Where are the settings that allow every piece of software to do specific actions individually?

Did you take 5 min to check yourself ? Everything you mentioned are here …
It took me a few hours just to try to install it (see the problem here: https://forums.comodo.com/install-setup-configuration-help-cis/bug-with-uninstall-t90350.0.html;msg651003#msg651003)
And yes, I took maybe 10-15 minutes to see how it works and found no option. I won’t take a 2-day course just to get used to a piece of software, nor will I read 52 pages of forum for that. CIS 5 worked just fine and had all the options you need. CIS 6 isn’t worth trying, that’s all.

I love this new version but there is one thing I would like to see added. A right click menu option from the system tray icon to open the Kiosk.

Have checked the windows index score on my laptop. There is a option to - view and print- have clicked on that and CIS6 pop up asked to alow , have alowed and that one is send to not recognised - see the foto attached below ( that one with - tosz - included )
