I have just updated to this RC. Now im installing KB4022716 update. Ill post here if everything goes ok

EDIT: I just finished updating windows and everything seems to be working fine. I logged in without any issues and browsing the internet with edge/vivaldi is working as expected.

Thanks for checking out.

So far it’s working fine here! :-TU

Btw, regarding the host entries, do I need to keep them or can I remove them? Will there be any negative side-effects from keeping them?

The new Release Candidate fixed every problem i had with .533 RC / windows.

All the 4 browser works fine. (Note: im using Comodo Dragon instead of Chrome)

Thanks for checking out.

You can remove as versions are higher they won't be downgraded by current production version.

Thanks for checking out.

Hi
can you explain why I need to put that entries into the host file?

I ask this because I don’t have everything perfectly clear. I have installed a freshly new Windows 10 yesterday but I didn’t update it yet so can I safely download the last CIS and install it without problem? Or is better I wait for the fixed version?

Thanks

Hi,
We have not released Comodo Internet Security updates yet.
We are still working on it. We have release candidate most likely today.

This post is about using beta server, related to which we have provided hosts(c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts) entries that can be used by interested users to test fix in Comodo Cloud Antivirus and Internet Security Essentials.

Thanks

U might wanna correct you’re typeO =)

Step - 4B: After you have ensured you have latest versions of both CCAV and ISE, update Windows to latest KB4022716 (OS Build 15063.447).

Also I don’t see that KB4022716 on Windows update, it was suppose to be released yesterday or the day before?
I’ve done the changes to the host file, rebooted got the UAC prompt now using the RC version and Windows Version 10.0.15063 Build 15063
Should I revert until I can see the KB4022716 on Windows update?

Thanks.
Where I can find the offline standalone installer for the CIS (when it will be updated)?

I am really out of it, I guess, so:
What is CCAV and Internet Security Essentials and how are they related to Comodo Internet Security Premium 10.0.1.6223, which is what I am using? Please tell me if I can test CIS or update it soon. I am preparing an installer containing 1703.15063.447 as I type, but I can test on a VM. Thanks and enjoy, John.

Where is the download link please?

In the opening post it will download v537 just make sure you revert hosts file changes to grab from normal server instead of test/beta server.

I installed the latest beta yesterday, today I could not access most SSL pages in Chrome, like this forum for example. So I uninstalled the beta and downloaded the latest CIS found on the homepage after I removed the entries from the host file. Now I still can’t access most SSL site on Chrome, using Edge atm.

Using CIS 10.0.1.6246, Database 27376

Update:
After removing Internet Security Essentials v1.2.421501.88 and rebooted, SSL works again. Your latest version is installed with cispremium_installer_6100_08.exe this case problems because I don’t have the Windows update mention available or installed. What does Internet Security Essentials v1.2.421501.88 include? where can I get the earlier version?

Installed 1.12.421630.537 Final, there are no problems. I use Yandex browser.

P.S. Solve the problem in CIS, as fast as possible

Hi
I am currently on Windows 10 build 15063.296 so am I safe to install the regular version of CIS and stop the Windows updates for the meantime?
Or I must install the RC 10.0.1.6250?
I am wondering what to do because I have to fresh install everything on a new PC and I wanna do the best thing.
