Brand New Comodo Internet Security 10 Hotfix Version is Released !

Will it work with 64bit browsers like Pale Moon and Cyberfox?.

Why don’t you try it and report back, please?

I would guess that it will work with the 64bit versions of the main browsers listed above - eg FFx64 andIEx64. But the ones you mention are variants. Try setting SS to use the default browser and then start whichever is your default browser, see what the results are. If the browsers open a private Window then it’s encouraging.

Kind regards

Mike

Good idea a report back would be useful.

I am using IceDragon and when I enter Secure Shopping, the Remote Connection alert always pops up… every time i scroll pages… - even if I remember the action
inside the Run in Secure Shopping. Has anyone experienced the same problem?

I have filed a bug report here:

https://forums.comodo.com/bug-reports-cis/remote-connection-alert-when-scrolling-with-mouse-inside-secure-shopping-t117698.0.html

Ah, I see the problem - only the Firewall is installed, so Secure Shopping isn’t there.

Thanks.

I just received some auto update a day after installing 10.0.0.6092. Is this a second hotfix with an undisclosed version number that remains at .6092?

I can’t tell what has changed though and why a system restart was required.
Was it a database update? I’m at 26368 at the time of this posting and wondered if this is the fix for the unknown files being added to the file list as trusted?

I now see in the main interface a small number of unknown files being displayed when before I had none.

EDIT: Okay, I believe it was a binary update of some kind that installed according to my log file around 8:42PM Eastern Standard Time which updated binary 6092 to 6092. The same binary file although it sees it as a newer update? Followed by a new anti virus update around 9:00PM from 26367 to 26368. Perhaps this was all that was needed to correct the unknown files issue a few had reported in this thread?

Can you check the Tasks logs and see what they tell?

So the Comodo Firewall widget no longer shows network throughput? :frowning:

My firewall widget shows the animation, Clocks…

I just tried but SS opens up in IE instead of my default Pale Moon browser. is there a way to add it to the drop down panel browser list?.

Probably would be a hack but unfortunately one would not be able to guarantee the security of it. I think IceDragon should work, it is a Comodo FF variant, but not x64.

Hi Egemen

Assuming this is a binary update, many thanks for it!

Could you please clarify what issues are fixed in it, and if possible could you distinguish the build number. Replacing 6092 by 6092 could cause confusion?

Thanks in anticipation

The update was for cmdfile.dll file, if I remember correctly seeing in the logs.

Thanks very much for the info. Do you have the version and dates created and modified for that file please? It should be in file properties in Windows explorer.

Kind regards

Ok that’s good. I guess it’s just displaying 6092 in the updater or logs then (as reported by a Dustyn above).

And to you Q - a very happy one!

Please let the offline installer supports instal Firewall only, just like 8.x did

Hi, is the update going to be offered through comodo’s auto-update or do I have to uninstall 8 and install 10 manually?

I have windows 10 x64 and CIS 8.4.0.5165 (says up to date)
