If you’re having difficulty “Uninstalling” CTM, this is not the tool for you !

I merged this post into this topic. I am replying to make sure Comodo staff will see your post as there was another post here after your initial post.

This problem of " Unable to install CTM " is mainly due to registry remnants left from " incompatible software " which are detected by CTM’s pre-installation scan, so folks who don’t find this Fix-tool readily available may use Registry cleaning tools like WinASO, ASC, 360Amigo etc to clean up the registry and try installing CTM again !

I did the cleanup, but it did not help. I get the same message about restarting the PC again

If you want to avoid troubles don’t uninstall CTM with:

. Revo Free
. Revo Pro
. IObit Uninstaller
. Comodo Programs Manager
. Your Uninstaller
. Smart Uninstaller

All these app. can’t do a good work when the app. needs to reboot to do their uninstall.

Better is to use CTM uninstaller!

Sure. Not these 3rd parties do a good job if the own uninstaller requires a reboot to finish the job. They do not work well with antivirus and firewalls. Even less with CTM…

The new beta-release has solved the problem: just uninstall the old version and use the beta.

Cant uninstall / repair /re-install CTM.
