Hello…

Question - can I use Win 7 system restore to get CTM off my computer???

any info would be appreciated…!

Thanks…!

 - Biggsio -

Did you try to uninstall it using Control Panel? If it failed, I suppose you should try to remove with the HOME key at boot (console). If it still fail, maybe, you can try system restore.

hello…
control panel method = FAIL = says to “You must restart your PC to complete installation/uninstallation”. I reboot,do control panel removal and again it says “You must restart your PC to complete installation/uninstallation”. There is no ■■■■ console at boot. Home key does nothing at all to bring up the console.

  • control panel removal does not wok
  • Home key will not start CMT console
  • Do I run a risk if I use Win 7 System Restore
  • Will I get a ■■■■■■■ up MBR?
  • CMT directory is on my computer in Program Files (x86)
  • Has CMT taken control of the MBR…?

Thanks for your interest, much appreciated.

Biggsio, if you can boot, MBR is ok. No problem.
You need to download the file and run it.

Hello…

Thanks for the help, Tech…!

Yes, I can boot the computer with CTM installed. But CTM seems damaged, it will not open or run at all.
And there is no home key/CMT console working when I reboot…?

Will this let me uninstall what I guess is a “bad install” of CTM without any problems with the MBR?
If I want to reinstall CMT which version should I get…?

Thanks…
Biggsio

In theory, yes. It won’t mess anything. Just allow to correct the installation/uninstallation of CTM.

2.9 Beta

Will you email the tool to me, as well?

shawn at sarai.org

Thanks!

–By the way, wouldn’t it be easier to make this tool publicly available?

Please check your email.
