How is it secure ? Can you explain some about Xchange ?? I am using Sumatra ?
I did explain. It’s not exploited nearly as much as Adobe because it’s not a big target. I would think that all the alternatives to Adobe are more secure than it is for the same reason. PDF-Xchange does get updates often though and some are security related.
what do you think about sumatraPDF mate ?
I’ve never tried that one. I did try Foxit and Nitro and didn’t like them that much.
PDF-Xchange has all the features that Adobe has and I actually turned off some default settings because I didn’t need them. I just need something that will read the files and integrate with the browser and it does that very well. It works better than the default one in Chrome too.
I am really really wondered. then lets give it a try thanks mate :-TU
How is the recently released PDF-Xchange Editor Free? It is viewer + editor but in free version editor will show demo labels on saving files, I dont know what does this mean?
And I guess free viewer will be replaced by free editor as it has both viewer + editor.
Are the functions of Adobe & Xchange same? Coz once I tried Libre Office replacing Office 2007 but my bro & cousin lost with the functions & I had to reinstall 2007.
I have never tried the editor so I can’t say.
PDF-Xchange is far more similar to Adobe in it’s features than Libre Office is to the real Office suite. Libre claims full compatibility but it doesn’t always work that way.
I thought Sumatra was light and loaded very fast, but it didn’t render the .PDF files very well. They always looked slightly fuzzy to me.
I turned into PDF-Xchange, and I am happy with it

I think PDF-Xchange Viewer is the best alternative to Adobe.
You are right
which product do you prefer and recommend to me here ;D
I use the Viewer.
OK thanks :-TU
Talks going on with any PDF product company?
Which PDF reader you use?
I think free only PDF reader doesn’t count here, free version are already available & Sumatra doesn’t have a paid version.
We will definitely be getting feature rich paid version of one of the PDF products for free, m I right Melih?
Xchange has 32 & 64 Bits version. Which version should I install on Win 7 64, Internet Explorer 32? Does 64 Bits Xchange browser plugin works with 32 Bits browsers?
Editing with Editor free leaves demo labels on document, not good, attached is the screenshot.

I just download the .exe installer file and it detects which version to install.
You mean 32 Bits will not install on Win 7 64? Coz .exe installer is seperate for 32 & 64 Bits for free editor.
Zip installer has both 32/64 Bits, inside zip there is one .exe installer, if I run this it will automatically install the correct version, right?
I should extract & then run the installer or it can be run directly?
You should try free editor, it is an upgraded version of viewer so there would be improvements etc…
I tried viewer & editor. Viewer has a little search toolbar by default set to ask & getting paid features tab on it, no such thing on editor, & I find editor icon better than viewer.
The EXE installer for the viewer is for both 32 and 64 bit. The separate installers are .MSI files. I really don’t know if I have the 32 or 64 bit version. All I know is it works and that’s good enough. I would assume it’s 64 but I’ll have to check.
I don’t need the editor since IrfanView will edit, save, and convert PDF if you have the right plugin. I have used it to convert scanned TIFF’s to PDF .
