If that was true, we would’ve banned ourselves ages ago.
Speaking of drunkness (hey, that’s not a word, according to Firefox) - I’m actually drunk right now!!! One of those evenings… ;D

LA
If drunkeness is really an English word then neither of us belong here (:TNG).
Uh oh! LA being drunk. I better keep him off the ban button. :o
I still believe my capabilities are quite good right now!
Is there a good synonym for “drunkness”? I think we need one. ![]()
How about “non-sober”?
I think what you’re seeking is the correct synonym “intoxication”.
The teachers always told me that there is an unbelievable amount of synonyms in your language.
Intoxication? If I’ll fall asleep with my boots on, you’re probably right! ![]()
HIX

I thought “non-sober” was called “■■■■■■”… at least in UK… ![]()
I know. Whatever group of geniuses out there invented more synonyms to make themselves feel “sophisticated” or “intelligent”, yet ironically making it more for people to memorize words.
I googled the term and only one result returned:
Hix is a character in Konami's role playing game Genso Suikoden, Suikoden II, Suikogaiden Vol. 1. Hix is a warrior-in-training from Warrior's ... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hix (Suikoden)
It’s strange, the more academic it gets, the more nice should the language be. As a result, the simplicity - and often understandability - is lost. So let’s not be too academic here, just drunken. ;D
POST # 1111 - and what do I get? Nothing!!!
Just to inform the non-knowin’:
Rulin the reign of Antisoberness is really a ■■■■ great thang.
Believe it or not.
Trying to create art? Drink.
Trying to finally finish that resisting witch? Drink.
Trying to change the world? Drink. A lot.
Trying to love your boss? Drink. A lot.
Trying to escape the oh so bad world of ours? Drink.
DRINK.
It will kill you one day (probably the last one in your life), of course it’ll do.
But beware: If you don’t drink, LIFE will kill you one day.
Now it’s your decision…
MorphOS REBOL, I really loved that picture you posted - “My doctor says…”. It could be of use also in this thread. ![]()
LA, the technical/fancy word for drunkenness (there’s the correct spelling, and yes, it’s a word) is inebriated (as in, “Joe is inebriated”) or inebriation (as in, “Speaking of inebriation, Joe just finished his sixteenth Wolpertinger Weissbeer”).

PS: No ■■■■ for me, please, thank you. I prefer a nice single-malt such as Aberlour.
PPS: Hi, AOwl!
Hi LM!
Well, I’m drinking The Glenlivet 12 year old single malt right now… mmm…
Hmm, Glenlivet’s quite nice, indeed. Over here, it’s quite commercial, and so I tend to stay with the lesser-known…
Ahh, the joys of a nice single malt. I can taste it now…

PS: g’night all ~ I must go burn Backtrack 2 to cd, and then off to sleepy-sleep land…
