Ahh, the joys of hacking games. Why I remember back in the days of the Apple II, and a RPG (no graphics) called “Eamon.” Some friends and I each hacked a version of it, and created our own hidden subroutines so we (as 1st level, brand new characters) could automatically max out abilities (Strength, Agility, etc), HP, weapons (such as a sword 2d10+12). Of course, the game was no competition, but that wasn’t the point. The point was to have fun doing the hacking and reinvent the code…
Regards the folks and computers… mine still insist they don’t have to get on the internet to check email, lol. But they did have a part in me being created and born, raised/fed/clothed me, so I can’t dis’ 'em too much!
