Please submit all applications you would like to see trusted here. Whenever possible provide links to the application/software. This will provide much faster results.

Submit Entire Program For Whitelisting

Please include:

  1. The name of the application/software
  2. A download link to the application/software (assuming you know that it’s not potentially dangerous)

Submit Individual Files For Whitelisting

  1. Include the name of the application/software (if possible)
  2. Also upload the file to either Comodo Valkyrie, or VirusTotal and post a link to the results in your post

Not all files in the installer where marked as trusted.

WVR64.msi (SHA-1 Hash: F9E4B3E856D09128836DD9ADE806A027AF952FB4)

Was missed and received a containment prompt.

Note: This happens when checking the option to install Relive at the end of the installation procedure.

[Edit] Can you also please make sure that the uninstaller (as is included in the installer) is also checked. So I don’t run into any issues uninstalling.

Could you please check if “Trust files installed by trusted installer” option is enabled. Refer enclosed image.

I always uncheck that option to prevent some Man-In-The-Middle attacks.

For example if the installer is an online installer.

Name: winmerge
Download: WinMerge - Browse /beta/2.16.1 at SourceForge.net

Using the 64bit version. After installation, two files are always flagged as unrecognised.

C:\Program Files\WinMerge\WinMergeU.exe
C:\Program Files\WinMerge\ShellExtensionX64.dll

I have submitted them for analysis but they always remain as unrecognised. Hence submitting the application here. Please do the needful.
