Definitive solution: don't resize columns ;)That reminds me of the joke where a man goes to his doctor and complains that his heart doesn't seem to be working properly when he runs, and the doctor tells him "Well then, don't run!" :o

Given that this thread started began January 10th, 2017, thereās no chance anybody is taking it seriously. Is there a more proper place to submit bug reports where they might be actioned before I die of old age?
I had a perfectly working version 5 installation for the past decade or more - why did I f### with it and upgrade to 12?
Using just the firewall. In Advanced View we can see the number of inbound and outbound connections in addition to the number of network intrustions. Clicking on each of these values opens a separate window with specifics such as the Protocol, Source IP, Destination IP, etc. It is this window that has the problem with column resizing. Any attempt to adjust the column width causes the columns to expand width to a massive degree, enough that the window can no longer handle the amount of amount of space between each column. The program freezes, then crashes. Closing and restarting the program will not fix the problem.

+1, was about to post about this same issue and found it had already been listed⦠by multiple people for many years.
This is what happens when programs try to be āsmartā and do extra things the user didnāt ask for. Oh, we decided columns should be proportional rather than absolute so resizing one resizes all of them⦠except itās broken so for every amount you make one smaller another gets 100x wider. Solved by making the program only do what the user tells it to do.
The problem still not solved. No one seems to be thinking of doing it. Itās not programming, itās disgrace.
The best solution for users is to bookmark the path in the registry editor (regedit.exe) āHKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/ComodoGroup/CIS/Gridsā under the name like āmad Š”omodo listsā and delete them when necessary. And this need will certainly arise again. In several years. When you forget about the crazy lists or mistakenly hope that Š”omodo has solved this problem.
Thank you so much!
