Ok, people who wanted to print to me via the usual windows share (Printer on Vista and Users on XP Professional) aren’t able to do so despite me having them under the trusted network setting, which I manually added. Is it a bug?
Also, some programs like Nikon Capture NX was able to activate without alerting the firewall. The program runs on .Net 2 , I’m using the latest .Net with SP.
Does your trusted network zone include the IP addresses of any connected computer, and the shared printer?
Have you checked “skip advanced security checks” in misc tab in the application monitor rule for your printer program?
