Please give us your testimonials! We really appreciate it.

Sorry but you’re doing something wrong. CIS is deadly silent at home on Seven x64 and at work on XP x32.
Proactive, D+ and FW in Safe Mode, Sandbox enabled.
No unnecessary popups and everything is remembered.

Which version are you using?

Also, if you add the program to the safe-list you won’t get any more popups.

I have been providing “feedback” as requested for several weeks, often multiple times each day. I am somewhat surprised at the programs I commonly used are apparently unfamiliar to you, but that can happen.

The feedback process could be improved. First I must locate the item you flag. Then I must open up the Firewall and get to the Miscellaneous / Submit Suspicious Files area. Then I must index down to the item you have flagged in the location I have found. And then wait.

I am frustrated that only then do you tell me the item has already been submitted!

You could shows the path, and save me the time to look up what you already know.

You could provide a slightly different message (other than “Please submit to COMODO for analysis”) when you already know I have already submitted the item for your analysis.

Continued feedback from your users might be enhanced by making the process more efficient for both of us.

Thanks!

these fine people at comodo really are trying to do things right I back a year ago saved my x girl friends computer using comodo internet security an comodo system cleaner after she got a virus

:frowning: If I could download a working version of CSI 5.0 I could comment on how it works, so far after trying two csipremium_installer_x86 from two different pages on your site and only getting a firewall that works and a AV that I can’t upgrade and a Defense+ that is not functioning, I figured I’de give it a THIRD chance and try doing it with Stand Alones I get the same results, so my search for protection is still going on. (yes I used a revo uninstall Tool and rebooted every time, I can read…)

Ladies and Gentleman, you have a problem… Make it work for EVERYBODY.

Maybe later on I will use Comodo, but not today.

Please start a topc in the Install / Setup / Configuration Help - CIS board.

That is not a probblem with the installer but something related to your individual system that needs a closer look

I have since FRIDAY, September 18/2010
If you look in " [url=https://forums.comodo.com/install-setup-configuration-help-cis-b137.0/]
You will find TWO post where I am asking for help. 88)

This is the first full free antivirus i have tried and i just want to say thank you, people on low income or little money really need this in these hard times. The scanner and firewalls are better than the free trials i have tried. and none of them offered a free online forum either. you had to spend upwards of 50$ just to get minimul protection. awesome job for the person who created this unique product. again thank you so much.

very much appreciate your feedback, thank you for taking the time to come to our forums. We are here to help. You have an amazing user community and moderators who are very helpful, knowledgable and willing to help…
again, welcome to our forum.

There are no words for the thanks i want to express to you all… Michael (Florida, USA)

Nice and Sunny  love Florida

Thank you very much for your kind words and taking the time to post your testimonial, really, sincerely appreciate it.

Melih…not as Sunny NY…(but Sunnier than Manchester England…where i was before  )

I’ve been test driving the new release of Comodo Firewall 5.0 since it’s release. I can tell you this, as good as Comodo 4.0 was, this new release it much much better. All those little “quirks” are gone now, plus 5.0 is much faster.

If I had any suggestions, right now the only thing I can think of is for the system tray icon to change when in game mode, or when the firewall, defense, or sandbox is turned off. Probably would need 4 different icons depending on what was disabled.

Anyhow, that’s my two cents worth…

Only third day getting to know Comodo Firewall 5.3.

Just got 340/340 in Comodo leak test in standard setup. Cool or what? Couldn’t get the test to even run in Defense+ paranoid mode :-\

I LOVE this firewall! !ot! ( Hope I figure it all out soon 88) )

Well done :-TU

Learned about Comodo from a tech support forum and decided to utilize the free firewall/DefensePlus combo. Been with it for over a month and my computer hasn’t gotten hit by anything. I’m gonna be recommending your products to everyone!

I have been using Comodo for quite some time, YEARS, can’t remember how long exactly and I have been hesitant to voice my opinions because the software is free and you can see there has been a lot of hard work put into it. I appreciate that very much. With that being said I would like to voice my testimonial that I have been putting off since I have downloaded the 5.4.189822.1355 update, or major install. This may have been the 3rd or maybe 4th install of comodo that I have installed. Not quite sure.

Anyway all the way up till that install Comodo has ran fine, smooth and non obtrusive in the background and did an excellent job. I recommended it to everyone I knew. Couldn’t be any better. But with the last install that is where the problem began. It is not a major problem per say as in messing anything up, but it is a majoe HOG of recourses on my PC.

cmdagent frequently causes my CPU load to be at 100%. Basicly stopping anything else from being loaded and when it tries it takes forever to get up and running. When I shut down my PC and start it it up it takes roughly 26 minutes before I can do anything at all but watch task manager and see that cmdagent is running 100& CPU.

I wished I could go back to the version before this CPU hog update. I still like the software and the price in particular but this is an issue that I may have to look for another solution to.

Why out of all the updates that I have done did this particular one start this. It was like everything was clean, small, ran efficient, was perfect and then BOOOOOM. What did you do to this to cause it to bloat like an ugly Yahoo install or Microsoft hog install. Just using those 2 as examples of BLOATWARE.

thanx, I guess keep up tyhe good work but the older version ran so much better, as far as safer I don’t know but I trust it either version.

thanx

I forgot to say that there is a new major update available now, but I am frankly scared to try it because it might even be worse. Now if the new update deals with this problem then that would be great, or does it add even more to what is happening now. I am going to stick with this one, at least 25 minutes would be better than 35 minutes. Unless someone can say that this new major update has dealt with these issues.

This issue has been reported by forum members numerous times as being fixed in Version 5.5. I can’t recall anoyine saying they still have this after upgrading to V5.5.

Ewen

Thanx for the reply. I never saw that anyone else was repoting the same thing. So I guess I will do the update and come back and give my opinion then.

thanx :-TU

I would like to give a huge thank you to the Comodo team. Over the past few years I have been testing a lot of anti viruses, trying to find the best one for my needs. Its safe to say that Comodo is my dream anti virus!

As I code a lot of applications I needed something that wouldn’t disturb me but still keep my PC safe. Comodo fitted the bill there as its firewall is very well built and very secure. Thanks to this Internet Security I am now able to see what’s connecting to the internet.

The virus detection rates are good to. I can trust comodo to pop up as soon as I download an infected file before it harms my system. It has saved me countless of times.

Comodo also looks very nice and is very easy to use. I will never ever look for another internet security again as Comodo is now my favourite. I installed it on all five of my systems and recommended it to all my friends, they love it to.

So a big thank you Comodo team. You have saved me a lot of time, money and hassle. Thanks.

I have binned Zone Alarm after 10 years or so on different computers :-TU. The problems started when Checkpoint took over. The updates were bloated, used 100% of a 3.2GHz PC, slowed things right down and the company wouldn’t listen. I lost confidence in Zone Alarm after using the forum and being told “IT DOES WORK - TOPIC CLOSED” !!! I had sent pictures and examples of the many problems with the latest update. The interface was cluttered and it kept showing pop-up windows with warnings to get you to buy things!

I read through many web pages, forums, asked about etc to see what people use. After downloading COMODO I was amazed, it installed without a problem, it’s clear with settings grouped together under tabs, it can run itself or the user can take more control, AND…it works better than any other firewall I have used on Windows XP. For a day I battered the computer with firewall test sites afer switching the one in the router off. Now I am far more confident the computer is correctly protected with COMODO. At least the company listens to customers and likes to hear from them with ideas/suggestions. That can only be a good thing to make the products even better and really understand what people want.

At least I don’t hear my laptop sounding like a hovercraft as it did with ZA.

I have been using Comodo products over the past numerous years and believe that the newest version of Comodo Internet security Pro is the best I have seen. I believe it is unbeatable by any other vendors products and the best thing is you can try it for [color=orange]FREE FREE. :o Nortons, Mcafee, Kapersky, you name it and I have removed viruses from each of these vendors for clients. When I set the client up with Comodo I suddenly have a vacuum of not receiving calls to come remove another virus, trojan, worm, ETC. I may have to go back to hardware work if this keeps up. You guys keep up the good work and thanks for your help in the past with issues from your older software.
