He agreed with you. That was his point. He merely explained his previous comment.
What previous comment ?
I’m pretty sure it was the one where he agreed with your comment. On this page if you scroll up. You may be mixing threads?
Well that would explain everything.
You just believe that.
mjlk,
To end the confusion.
Your quote of axl - “I hope you both share a happy future.”
Is from a thread where you two Disagree in Opinion.
Equivalent to - To each his own or I wish well for You and the person you agree with, I have my opinion and I’ll stick with it, so agree to disagree.
Leave that thread there.
In this thread axl quoted you and 100% concurred (agreed) with your opinion.
Peace, Please.
Bad
OK
I think the problem may arise when surfers type www.comodo.com in the address-bar. That page does not show the free version of CIS prominently and needs a few more mouse clicks to get to it.
Typing [i]Comodo Firewall | Get Best Personal Firewall Software for $29.99 A Year instead will take you straight to it.
Sure,
…and everyone out there knows that.
I just went to Comodo.com and under Free Products on left side of page found Popular Downloads. Clicked on Internet Security. New page loads and there is a red box with Free Download to click on to download it.
This is not hidden to me and should not present trouble to anyone to find at this time. What ever issue there was when the new page was first published has been corrected and the download is very easy to locate and clearly defined as 100% free. This is now a non-issue.

I agree easy to find now the page has been change you can also click on all free products.

www.comodo.com>Free Products>Explore Products>Internet Security>Free Download>
click Download button> it goes to Internet Security Pro(Paid)
If we click ‘more info’ instead of ‘Free Download’,
it takes us to real download URL.
http://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/free-internet-security.php
but if we click ‘Free Download’ instead of ‘more info’
it takes to us to
http://www.comodo.com/home/download/during-download.php?prod=cis
;D ;D ;D
Fix it please.
Some of new visitors are complaining they can’t find free CIS.
errr 88)
i rarely use the main comodo page
usually i download CIS directly from www.personalfirewall.comodo.com 88)
so here’s me,new guy trying to get CIS free
www.comodo.com/products/free product/firewall & AV ==> CIS pro (yep this one is wrong :-TD) www.comodo.com/home & home office/product/internet security ==> CIS pro (fair enough) www.comodo.com/home & home office/popular download/ ==> CIS free :-TU www.comodo.com/popular download>internet security ==> CIS free :-TU
Or try another links from.
Filehippo and CNET
I just followed the links you listed, and I got to free version with no questions about it being free. Title of page was CIS - Free Version. Clicked download button it would have downloaded fine. I have it so I cant run the install, bit it was the correct file.
Go to Comodo.com
Hover over Free Products on right side, bottom of scrreen until it scrolls to the free products tabs.
Click on All free profucts.
Click On Internet Security Free Download.
Click on big Download button.
No problem. Pages clear enough and final page with the dowmload button has Free in the title so no one should be confused.
Mikecz
You didn’t follow what I linked.
Read my article again.
Those pages that I’ve mentioned are not clear enough.
Do you think I’m a new visitor in COMODO?
I think the coding for those pages is not correct.
Do I have to make a motion picture for this?
Please check the code COMODO.
Because people can see download popup and download it.
But sometimes people can’t even see download popup and then it takes people
to the other pages(CIS PRO tryout blah blah…).
That page may have a problem with Cookie control.
petit I know direct download links.
I’m not talking about me.
I’m talking about this for NEW VISITORS.
I feel like complaining some today… perhaps since I got nothing better to do… O0 :-TU
However, Ive said it before and I say it again… The homepage is not looking good! I don’t know who was hired to do the homepage, comodo.com… But its freaking hard to navigate on it… Its a disaster… who ever the designer was has not seen anything through a user perspective. Downloading CIS is harder than ever before. I hardly know where to click myself when wanting to get CIS… should I click AV?? Firewall??
My mother would absolutely not find it… And probably just walk away…
And when I try to get CIS I go products> free products > firewall & AV AND I get to this page::
http://www.comodo.com/home/internet-security/internet-security-pro.php
Buy now… Or try it free for 30 days… CIS is free and that info should not be hidden… I selected free products… I should not be pushed to some sign-up page for a pay product…
Neither should the page http://www.comodo.com/products/free-products.php be a total couplateup with several linkings all going to the same place… Its just confusing… Comodo Firewall and Comodo Antivirus should be gone… since there are no such installer. instead there should be just CIS… Where the page explains nicley that the installer includes award winning firewall + AV (possible HIPS) and that those can be deselected/selected at will during install…
Also there is like a thousand links everywhere and no easy way to navigate back… The user are killed with crazy linkings…
The page is complicated, not good looking and the animation gets in the way and disturbs when trying to click a link and similar… + not all pages look the same… The text is way too small for older to read. The text is sometimes poorly written and not getting to the point… just bla bla… The “blue” colored links has no reason to use a weak blue… better to use strong “standard link” blue… Its easier on the eye…
But navigation is the major issue… pages usually have like a navigation bar to the left… or on the top… or to the right… Comodo page has chose to have them all… It gets too much info for a human… Navigation links on the top, on the bottom, in the middle…
EVERYWHERE… ??? ???
Just saying what I think since I want Comodo to do well and I don’t think the pick of homepage is a good one. :-TU :-TU :-TU :-TU
