Not sure what the whole fuss is about but, whenever few fix may be needed, it does make more sense to separate each different component than provide only one CIS free page and link it the download to the free suite.
Who know maybe those average Joes and Janes will think that if is called Internet security is not an Antivirus nor a Firewall.
The Average Joe will likely search mostly for Comodo Firewall, then for Comodo Antivirus or Comodo Internet Security and not for Comodo Boclean.
Just imagine how many Average Joes and Janes were not able to download the Firewall or the Antivirus so far because all they saw was Internet Security…
So accounting the number of average Joes that are blind to anything but Comodo Firewall added to the number average Janes that are blind to anything but Comodo Antivirus, different AV and FW pages will likely let these people reach The Free Forever download pages 380% more efficiently than with Comodo Internet Security page alone.
I understand the need for correction in cases like
The free to pro links are obviously a mistake, not only because some boxes that list Free AV & FW link to trial page and this would make no sense but because the wizard page contain both CIS and CIS PRO whereas CIS link to CIS pro and CIS pro box link also to the free firewall and av.
So in the meanwhile it looks like many more people will get to find CIS though different component pages whenever when a cis free page will be added as well there will be another 20% increase
I cannot find the free version, all link to CIS Pro :o
I really think this new website is disgusting and horrible, navigates bad, impossible to find anything, no Forum link, blegh.
For me this is straightforward.
And from comodo.com looks OK too:click Product (on top bar) then click Free Software from bottom bar then choose Comodo Firewall.
Either the webmaster is an incompetent or there’s an objective not compatible with “creating trust online”.
Many average users looking for a free product will not find it in Comodo’s main page.
They will quicker find it in CNET, MajorGeeks and…oops, Softpedia is no more.
Agreed. I needed to download it again yesterday and again I just couldn’t find it, I ended up Googling it and downloading it from another website.
Sorry Melih but this new website is absolutely horrible and navigates like a baby in a bath.
