I wonder if something is going on regionally. A couple years ago or so I wasn’t able to download the installer from Comodo because it wouldn’t complete correctly. When I used a VPN and changed my location I could. If you have a VPN, try setting it to the United States and see if that helps.

Dear colleagues from COMODO, you can leave a comment: Microsoft is preparing to test a version of Windows in which antivirus applications will not have access to the operating system kernel. This will protect the OS from the incorrect operation of the antivirus itself. Eventually, rootkits, Trojans, and backdoors will run in kernel mode, while AV and EDP will run outside the system core. If rootkits, trojans and backdoors can run in kernel mode, so can AV.

If something can run in kernel mode, anything can run, including AV.

There are no new versions since 2024-12-12. What happened? And did they fix the vulnerabilities in the CIS or not?
