New Ideas for Comodo Dragon

I agree, this is the reason I use Dragon. If it’s not special in regards to privacy & security there isn’t any reason to use it. :-\

With latest beta of Dragon:

Your browser fingerprint appears to be unique among the 764,260 tested so far.

Currently, we estimate that your browser has a fingerprint that conveys at least 19.54 bits of identifying information.

Opera 10.10

Your browser fingerprint appears to be unique among the 764,267 tested so far.

Currently, we estimate that your browser has a fingerprint that conveys at least 19.54 bits of identifying information.

Dragon (Incognito Mode)

Within our dataset of several hundred thousand visitors, only one in 382,132 browsers have the same fingerprint as yours.

Currently, we estimate that your browser has a fingerprint that conveys 18.54 bits of identifying information.

What should we be seeing that would need correcting?

Why would you test one in incognito and another in normal mode?

My idea is DC update the version to one of these new versions of Google Chrome:
STABLE: v. 4.1.249.1042
BETA: v. 5.0.342.8
DEV: v. 5.0.360.0

And here are some specific recommendations which might be incorporated into a ‘private’ browser.

Telling one to read something doesn’t NEARLY have the effect of conveying your OWN point of view. We need to hear YOUR side of the story.

Old saying:

You can lead a horse to water but…

Good luck!

he said NEW! lol

but firefox is only as bloated as you make it or want it though

Something like Prevx SafeOnline would be a good idea in my opinion (See uploaded Attachment) and link is here Melih for inspection http://www.prevx.com/safeonline.asp

Hope this helps.

what about adding a “bank mode” to CIS like i have suggested many times in the past…like prevx does…lock down particular sights like banks

roboform is great for this

whats comodo two factor?

too late! comodo is already chrome…

Comodo should concentrate on creating security plugins only (to make the most secure browser). Users should create plugins for usability only and leave Comodo to secure CD.

this seems logical to me

Could you maybe add a way to say remeber I trust this site for ssl warnings.

What do you mean? CD is Chromium based ala’ SRWare Iron but it’s not Chrome.

its a chrome body wearing a different coat…w/extras

Chrome is Google’s implementation of the Chromium Project. There are differences between the two. Dragon is based off of Chromium and not Chrome.
