Sorry guys but this is ridiculous, you send out email announcements with a subject : New announcement: New ESM 1.5 has been issued, there is no introduction as to what ESM is and people have to decrypt your message. This is the poorest marketing I have ever seen!

I received the e-amil (subject: New announcement: New ESM 1.5 has been issued, sent by forumadmin@comodo.com), probably because I have this option enabled:
Profile|Notifications and Email|Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email.
Ronny I actually follow the forum through RSS feed and may have subscribed in the past as this forum is difficult and time consuming to follow but that is not the point. Promote the product clearly. Don’t make people waste time to research what a ESM 1.5, , CIS , ETC GMM is as some may, others will not and some will just ignore altogether.
I agree, that’s why I was chasing this, if it really was a “promotional email” send out by marketing I could contact Comodo Staff to investigate this.
I’m not a Comodo Employee, just a volunteer Moderator here so there is nothing i could verify except asking you what you have received and trying to find out where it came from… to prevent these in the future.
