CIS is safe…
Updates is one mode of publisize product and company…
If you add the following rule to uBlock Origin (and maybe other ad blockers, too), you will no longer see any posts from liosant talking about how updates help promote a product. I think that moderators should do something about his spam, but it’s being tolerated so here’s a solution.
forums.comodo.com##.first.username > a:matches-attr(data-user-card="liosant"):upward(5)
forums.comodo.com##a:matches-attr(data-user-card="liosant")
dude… hahahaha… but… hey, he is doing his part here. let it be…
Applied, it works very well
I should probably add that the first rule is all you need to hide posts. The second rule just hides his thumbnail icons that show he’s posting in a particular thread. It’s not really needed. It just makes it cleaner.
I can’t do it. Could you explain to me how to do it?

Sorry. My request was for Cassette
To add filters open the options menu by clicking the uBlock icon on your toolbar then the gear icon. Next click the “My Filters” tab. Paste the rule(s) you want to use in there. Click “Apply Changes”.

Hi,
Will there be beta testing of the CIS 2024, maybe not for everyone?

let them hear you…
it help to popularize product and company…
You might want to add onto or modify the blocker rules since our fellow forum user has been more active with his second username, lioant. Either add the same rules and just change the user name or, more simply, just replace the rules with the following:
forums.comodo.com##.first.username > a:matches-attr(data-user-card="/lios?ant/"):upward(5)
forums.comodo.com##a:matches-attr(data-user-card="/lios?ant/")
I have to give him credit for motivating me to learn more about uBlock and regex, which I’ve never understood very well.
Great work. I have updated it on my end
In appearance, Comodo has always been pretty.
Containment problems?
Hello and thank you for a great product. Sorry for posting it here, not sure where to post it.
I have a containment related question. If i download a file while running Firefox in the container with “do not virtualize access…” unticked and restriction level set to “Untrusted”, if i go to VTRoot folder folder to the downloaded file (or any file in the VTRoot folder) i can copy and paste it to outside the container, how does that not allow Malware to do the same and deploy its payload outside the container? Maybe im just ignorant how the containment works?
Tried this in both Windows 10 and 11
Tried it from both an Admin account and Local account
Running Firefox 111.0.1
Windows 11 Pro 22h2 22621.1485
Comodo Firewall 12.2.2.8012
Thank you.
