I noticed that build 8088 will go into Silent Mode without prompting it to do so. Did not happen every time so it isn’t reproducible as such.

I noticed it when I was preparing a video for release. It didn’t effect protection in any way, but the Containment alerts did not appear.

Hello Team, also please kindly consider the request of adding a strong network intrusion detection/prevention component to the firewall module & provide relevant signature updates for it as it will help in blocking/preventing latest network intrusion attempts/remote access attacks/latest hacking & pentesting & all other kinds of network attacks and also please consider updating improving the web & antiphising protection in CIS 2024 final stable version to block all kinds of malicious/phising/bad websites on all major web browsers like Google chrome, Edge, Comodo Dragon , Firefox etc.

I know that this won’t be of much help. but here is what occurred-I was in the process of preparing a video testing build 8088 against malware. During the process of activating the malware I noticed that there were no Containment popup alerts (but there were FW popups (which happened when they should have happened). At this point I realized that the application went in Silent Mode without any user input.

It occurred a second time directly on a second reboot after installation. This time no changes were made, no files were run.

Obviously this sporadic issue did not affect protection in any way, but I did find it curious.

Hi @cruelsister,

The team was unable to reproduce it on their end. They asked for the full video with your test, where you had this problem or the correct steps for them to try to reproduce it.
