The essence of the error is that Comodo doesn’t work with a specific host, but with a range of IPs, which may include completely third-party addresses.
The time comes to the end of another year, when will we experience some of these bugs have been fixed? :-\

APC Index Mismatch Error
I got this after I updated to the “newest” version some months ago from some older version and now my PC crashes like twice a month which is really annoying.
Windows 7 (I don’t need to be lectured about that, thank you).
Earlier, when I tried to reset the container, I regularily got a blue screen. But never got it for a long time. For me I’m happy that this bug “is gone”. Otherwise cis runs without any problems and still I haven’t gotten any malware yet, so my PC still is very well protected.
This is just a comment for one bug - but an importent one for me.
- updates help promote products;
- updates give greater security and confidence;
- updates greater confidence and greater visibility;
i studying bugs, CIS is safe, but not promote product in sites of downloads and forums of security… for example…

- Win version along with bit type ?
- Can you reproduce the problem & if so how reliably?
- If you can, exact steps to reproduce. If not, exactly what you did & what happened.
- Any software except CIS/OS involved? If so - name, & exact version.
- Is there anyother security product installed on your machine?
- Any other information, eg your guess at the cause, how you tried to fix it etc.
- If possible, any related screenshots.

I’ve found a temporary work around… at least for the issue I was having. After running comodo’s integrated diagnostics, in the hopes of fixing the update problem, the AV Database got somehow reset to the very first version(?).
After searching the entire web and the forums for possible fixes, the best I could find was the page that should deliver the update file manually (Comodo Anti Malware Database Latest Version & Additions 2023) but that one is just endlessly loading and nothing can be downloaded. So I went ahead and inspected the page source, and there is a link to a cav file (I presume that’s the current one). So I downloaded that, opened comodo (CIS premium 12.2.2.8012 in my case) opened the help window, and on the About window is a link to Import Virus Database that accepts only cav files, loaded the file and now it has updated to Database version 35159.

Manually updating still doesn’t work, but at least I no longer get a windows prompt that my AV Database is out of date.
Comodo is safe, but updates help spread the word :-TU
