Help Required for Setting Up Comodo Firewall for Particular Uses

Hello Community,

I want help with configuring Comodo Firewall for a few specific applications I use frequently. Despite following the general setup guides; I am facing issues where certain applications either can not connect to the internet or are being blocked unexpectedly.

This application frequently needs to access the internet for updates but it often gets blocked. I have tried adding it to the Allowed Applications list but the issue persists.

I am also having trouble with Teams connecting to its server. I have set the appropriate rules, but it seems that Comodo Firewall is still intervening.

I am working with Power Apps & need to ensure it is not being inadvertently blocked. Can anyone provide detailed guidance on how to adjust the firewall settings to ensure these applications, including power apps, run smoothly?? Any advice on creating custom rules or exceptions that might resolve these connectivity issues would be greatly appreciated.

Try this- for an application that needs to update itself (and has an Update Now choice, open the application and then put the Firewall into “Custom Ruleset”. Now click on Update Now and you will get a FW alert- click Allow and check the Remember box.

If the application that you want automatically attempts to update itself on app start, things will work the same way. except set the FW in Custom Before opening the app.
