CIS 5 Suite Default Settings doesn’t gives any D+ popups or nothing when I install Easycleaner, why???
Easycleaner is not in the Local TVL nor in the Cloud TVL (D+ Events or Trusted Lists didn’t show anything about Easycleaner) Its not Digitally Signed too. No Unlimited Rights Popup was there. So why Easycleaner gets installed without any popups???

EDIT : i downloaded, its not whitelisted and give alerts.
Comodo options has one that says automatically detect installers and updaters and run them outside of the sandbox.
It is not in the Local TVL. If it is whitelisted in the Cloud TVL then it should show up in the D+ Events - Scanned Online & Found Safe or in the Trusted Lists, but there’s no such thing.

This option gives the Unlimited Rights Popup but it was not there. I tried 3 times & the same results.

No alerts here. For any other such apps I am getting alerts but not for this one. There’s no traces of Easy cleaner in CIS.

Maybe you installed it before and created a rule for it, then forgot that you did?
Hello I guess you are not reading the post & just replying. I mentioned that no traces of Easycleaner in CIS.
I know its not malicious but the way CIS works there should be popup.

I think its in the build-in file white list (not TVL) as CIS just prompt me that the Easycleaner installation file is safe and cannot be added to the “Unrecognized File” list.
By the way, you can open the “Active Process List” in D+. It will show that a file is trusted or unknown. A trusted installer will not have popup. Only an unknow installer will have popup.
But here there are no popups nor any prompts. I just tried again reinstalling CIS. Other apps are giving popups as usual but not this one. Can you guyz mention your CIS setup & show me the screenshot of the popups or prompts. I am running default CIS 5 full suite on Win XP SP3 with no other security softwares.

Have you check is it identified as “trusted” or “unknown” in the “Active Process List” in D+?
Its showing trusted in Active Processes. Why I am not getting prompts/popups for Easycleaner like you guyz??? I know its not a big issue but if you guyz are getting prompts so should I get, right???

open CIS > more > check for updates, try to update TVL.
It says product up to date.
A trusted installer do not have popup in default setup. It is normal behaviour for CIS.
I really don’t known your problem. People may just using custom setting or their CIS have problem if they have popup for trusted installers.
But I guess there are only two ways for allowing the apps without any popups in defaults, Local TVL & Cloud TVL. Easycleaner is in neither. Local TVL doesn’t shows Easycleaner & Cloud TVL i.e D+ Events & Trusted Lists dont show anything related to Easycleaner. And as I have mentioned there are no previous traces of Easycleaner in CIS. Anyway no prob but will see if anyone gives info on this.

As far as I known, there is also a CIS built-in file white list (that you cannot see) which have the same functionality as the “Trusted File” list (that you can see and edit). And there’s no popup for these white listed files too.
You mean if an app is trusted by this built-in whitelist no entry/rules/logs of the app is recorded in any module of CIS.
What if create rule for safe apps is checked, any rules/entry/logs will be created???

You will only get a pop up from a trusted installer if you unmark “automatically trust file from trusted vndors” in Execution control Settings in Defense+ Settings
