Dragon 33 - Flash Player issues workaround!

Any news from the Devs regarding the Flash Player issue.

This issue have been going on for a ‘while’ now. Almost 5 months now and that is not ok imo.

Just tested 4 other chromium based browsers (SRWare Iron, Opera, Chromium & Torch) to see if the Flash Player issue exist in any of those browsers but they work just fine with it.

Dear Sir,

1st of all i thank You 4 above fix-tip.

I’ve experienced Flash-problem with ComodoDragon 33.1 since I’ve installed Chrome 37.0.2062.120 m (64-bit) upon my PC with OS Windows7 Home Premium 64bits

Being really very lazy  ;D I’ve tried an “escamotage” bfr doing all You wrote in Your post
I’ve simply disabled Adobe Flash Player ppapi making so correctly runnig of Shockwave Player npapi (c linkd GDrive pix) and seems all were OK

Regards and have a happy week-end

Hi All,

Apologies if this is off-topic, I’m new to this issue. I have used CD for about 2 years. I’ve read the entire thread but I admit NPAPI vs. PPAPI I don’t understand.
I only have one file for Adobe SWF listed in plug-ins, and it is for v15.0.0.152 NPAPI. Yet I still get the slooow test screen and occasional web page element like Auctiva at eBay, as well as the occasional crash here and there. Should I install the mentioned .PPAPI from Adobe, and could someone explain why I only have one plug-in listing in the first place?

Hi Fuzzilla,
You first need to have Chrome installed, or have a copy of the PepperFlash folder and contents from Chrome placed in Dragon’s install location.
Then open dragon://plugins, use the +details button on the right hand side to expand the plugin details.
Disable NPAPI version and leave the PPAPI (PepperFlash) version enabled.

Kind regards.

Thank you for the reply. I appreciate not being flamed or snubbed for being a first-poster who just needed a little clarity. :-TU Not all boards are always so kind.

You are welcome.
I hope the information posted above was helpful.

Kind regards.
