What is a Foil hat? Its one of these hats that protects your super brain from being infiltrated by evil aliens (or something like that). I was browsing google and saw a bunch of pictures and thought…

Hmmmmmm, ok then.
I was just checking that you weren’t an alien infiltrator, can’t be too careful these days.

I wear my 3T (Trusty Tinfoil Top) all the time and although the residue garlic butter tends to make my hair oily, and smelly, I think this is a small price to pay for total protection :slight_smile:

I don’t need the foil hat. I take so many mineral supplements that my hair has turned to metal.

This is a very good point. What if the aluminum foil actually amplifies the signal? ???

Good thing you were wearing protection then! :o Who knows what you would be doing today when that lightning “almost” hit you if you weren’t protected by the hat. :slight_smile:

Stories like this tells me that that “thing” is doing its job, maby it can solve other problems as well, like world peace or the rubrics-cube?? I can’t understand why I didn’t made one before!!

As every geek knows, MythBusters proved that a tin foil hat has the opposite effect of those desired by their wearers. A tin foil hat actually improves radio/microwave reception rather than impeding/blocking it. In addition, it also makes you look like a complete loon.

I think the MythBusters aren’t qualified to make that statement…one half of each of their brains is probably fried, the other looks like it was in a blender. All those experiments with aliens, you know.

That isn’t too tricky. What is tricky is convincing us we need the foil hats, and then making us feel foolish about wearing them so we won’t ever again. Now they are free to invade normal minds. :o (I’m sure you know I’m not quite normal, right?)

The real question is when do I not wear one? I can’t be too careful ever since this ET landed in this forum.

I wear a lead hat, not only does it shield me from ET but also blocks cellphone radiation and all of that radiation from tv/radio towers floating around in the air. I’m smart. ;D
