Pls fix this soon.

Could you please provide your detailed hardware information?
For example: How many hard disk did you have? What’s type of them? Just SCSI? Or RAID?
It will help us to fix the problem.

Thanks,

Ok
Is there a application i can use to make a detailed Hardware report?

System 1 (XP system):
1 USB 1TB harddrive & 1 SATA Cable SCSI harddrive. (Have tryed without the USB connected… still failed install… RAID OFF

Sytem 2 (Windows Vista 64Bit system):
1 SATA Cable SCSI Harddrive with 2 partitions. RAID OFF

Edit:

Only XP system SATA harddrive can use RAID. System 2 cannot use RAID. (Raid is off on system 1)

There are good free utilities available such as SIW :

After installing and rebooting i get the following error:

Testing Memory 4A84C7C
ErrorCode 8801: Insufficient space to install protect system.

If this is the case then the installer should have prevented installation.

  1. Windows XP SP2, x32, Professional (60GB disk, with 56GB free space Basic NTFS, Memory 1GB).
  2. CCLeaner, Winpatrol, Winpcap, Norton Ghost 2003.
  3. Install on system.
  4. N/A.
  5. N/A.
  6. N/A.
  7. Previously installed version 2.0.106201.123.msi (worked fine).

Edit:
After restoring a clean Ghost the installation went fine, seems like a conflict with the previous version…

Hi jay2007tech
Thanks for so detailed hardware information. I saw you have a removable disk. Could you please eject it firstly, then try again? If the warning dialog is still here. Please let me know. We will try to reproduce it and fix it.

Thanks,
Doskey

Win7 Ultimate RTM x64
CIS
Tried to install the msi program
CTM installer reported it can’t install unless run as Admin.
I am logged in as Admin.
MSI programs do not have the ability to be manually elevated to Admin level.

It's the same thing

also when I right clicked on the program. Under compatibility mode, the “administrator option” was grayed out. maybe it’s because it’s version 7229 and not 7600??

There are good free utilities available such as SIW :

that a good program. :-TU most of the stuff it’ll let you copy and paste too!!

Do you use Dinamic or Basic disk?

Hi postmouse
1. Windows XP SP2, x32, Professional (60GB disk, with 56GB free space Basic NTFS, Memory 1GB).

CTM doesn’t work with my software AMD RAID 0.

Could you please give more detail about your computer? Numbers of HDD, HDD tyte (IDE, SATA, ATA), installed software? OS you use. What does it means “does not work”, Does not install or does not start, or crash?

Two, both in Raid 0.

SCSI.

Windows 7 x64.

Exactly, CMT installer says that my HDD constellation wouldn’t be supported.

Hardware configuration:

  • Motherboard ASUS A7V600 X (VIA KT 600)
  • IDE master: Vista SP2 disk with 4 partitions. WD 2500 JB. Bootloader
  • IDE slave: XP SP3 disk with 4 partitions[. WD 2500 JB
  • SATA: Win 7 with five partitions. WD 6400 AAKS
  • IDE master: Plextor PX 760 A (DVD RW)
  • IDE slave: Plextor PX 116 (DVD ROM)
  1. Your Operating System (32 or 64 bit) and Service Pack revision (Instructions for XP and Vista/Win7). The problem is happening both Vista SP 2 and 7 RTM (did not check with XP)

  2. Other and Utility Software Installed: Perfect Disk 10, Smart Defrag, Easus Partition manager, Easy BCD 2.0 beta, CP burner XP, Burn Aware, SiSoft Sandra Lite 2009 SP4, Speedfan 4.39.

  3. Step by step description to reproduce the issue. Run the installer on both Vista and Win 7 and it will tell “An unsupported disk is detected. Comodo Time Machine beta supports only IDE/SATA/SCSI disks.”.

  4. How you tried to resolve the problem. Fixed a multi boot error with the Win 7 disk. It would not boot without the bootloader. It now boots both with and without the bootloader.

  5. Upload Memory Dumps on crash if you encounter any. N/a

  6. Attach screenshots to your posts to clarify the issue further

  7. Any other information you think that might be useful. When I installl CMT on my Vista disk and the Win 7 disk is not present there is no problem. When the Win 7 disk is present the problem occurs. On the Win 7disk the problem is there of course.

When needed I can send an analysis report by SIW by PM. SiSoft Sandra gets stuck when making the report.

A few Typo’s:
