Do you mean autoupdate also needs GUI opened? If Yes, thats not autoupdate & risky for the users & should be corrected.
will it be a good idea, if we add “check for update” as a Scheduled Task and repeat every Tuesday defaultly?
That’s okay :-TU
What’s about Health Check? Will you change that to first of all update, and then scan?
Sounds like a good idea and maybe pop up a notification to alert user (which can be turned off within CMS if preferred).
Or…Why not just make CMS auto update automatically (virus defs only) for everyone. With a option to disable for those without unlimited data.
If it doesn’t checks automatically then the autoupdate option is risky, misguiding & wrongly implemented if the GUI opening is needed for it to automatically update. How can you call it autoupdate? In what security concern you guys thought it should autoupdate when GUI is opened?
Options are already there to autoupdate on any connection available or only on WiFi. It should autoupdate when internet is available.
Data is an OTA Internet connection, through your ISP’s servers. Wifi is through a wireless router.
Only permit auto when connected via Wifi (even then, only if selected to do so through Settings), else it should only be when you manually ask it to check for updates.
I think autoupdate should be there irrespective of the connection but options should be there to disable or select any/all.
Default can be set by asking the users during install. And Devs have mentioned that databases are very smaller i.e few kbs so autoupdate on any connection wouldn’t be much of a prob to anyone in my opinion.
New version: 2.0.276884.16

Does this new updated CMS checks for databases automatically?
Comodo, is this genuine, you have updated the version?
Dear Sirs,
Before I had separate CMS and CBS on my phone.
Yesterday, my CMS was upgrated, and I noticed that CBS now is inside CMS…
So, can I uninstall standalone CBS now?
Thank you in davance!
Best regards,
Andrey
If you click the CBS link, you will find it is a separate app, not included with CMS.
If you use CBS , don’t remove it. CMS now allows you to access this app from within.
Thank you for your answer!
Many thanks for new version! :-TU very good looking and new apps!
but in the new version, section “Notification on blocked Calls/SMSs” is not working properly! in the previous version when you received a blocked call or sms, a notification appears immediately on the left corner of notification area, but in new version there is not! So you have to go manually in the Calls/SMS part and see if you have any blocked calls or sms! Any chance to correct this bug in new version?
Thanks for developers… :P0l
What a company! Amazed at how quickly Comodo catches and pass the competition. I truly have developed a brand loyalty with Comodo.
Time to invest before my big mouth helps to uncover one of the worlds best kept secrets.
Have you verified notifications is turned on? (you never stated this)
Yes, I turned it on! but the feather is not working! ??? In previous version it was working properly! :-TD
It’s still here! But it doesn’t pop up as a separate notification - it’s included in CMS status bar!
See attachment.

Thank you morphiusz, I knew that but I think previous version’s function was better in this issue! it made you to pay attention to notifications but in new version there is no signs even on COMODO icon! you will find out you have a blocked sms/calls just (and just!) if you open notification pan.
I think it is better to make a little changes in COMODO icon. For example if you receive a blocked Call/Sms then icon color change to red or yellow or any thing else to attend user to take look at notification pan.
Thank you again, I love all Comodo products! :-TU
