6728 is working well for me on Win 10 RS5 (17763.107), Comodo starts up much faster (for some reason) than 6710 did. Which is a nice bonus. (And yes I do have IE installed with both 6710 and 6728).
What ‘lag’ and high cpu do you speak of? If you an issue you should create a bug report so that it can be investigated and fixed. Complaining without providing any info is not going to magically fix itself.
Actually it doesn’t. Comodo programmers (Vladimir, Konstantin and some one else i don’t recall) have connected to my pc, i dunno, 4 times the last 3 months. Each time something was fixed.
This latest version IS better, still some errors i posted above exist in both my pcs (one desktop and my wifes laptop).
I only try to help here, do not take my posts as negative ones please. Not the case. Still 11 shouldn’t have been out ever.
If you mean the error about cmdagent protected service, then that is normal as they reverted/removed the protected service of cmdagent. Once they re-enable the cmdagent protected service you won’t get those errors anymore in the event logs.
No problems with 6728 by now. But the internet connections have become very slow and tough. Pages only opened after a few seconds. Now I went back to version 6710 and everything works fine again without any delays. If I now click on a website it opens again immediately.
Hi guys,
I did a clean installation because I was having problems suddenly.
I reinstalled and it seemed to be all right but in the update it signals me an error and does not download the web database. Can you help me?
It has been reported by a customer and verified by myself something wrong on windows 7 64 bit. Comodo AV 11 6728 was installed here, changing av from MSE, and on first restart Windows notification prompted asking to activate comodo, asking user to allow the app to run as it’s untrusted. We managed to run the av, selecting the run anyway function with “remind my choice” but i uninstalled it anyways, cause I can’t risk to eventually leave my customer without active antivirus, and installed CAV 10 without any issue and without this specific issue.
We won’t install any version 11 anymore, we had enough
So I installed 6728 again, Windows 10 Pro, 64 bit, version 1803, build 17134.345.
I don’t know if this is important: I installed all components (not only firewall and antivirus) online. I have not uninstalled cis before.
It’s impossible to tell me why, but now it works: Icons are almost immediately visible, opening sites without delay - no problems as before.
I hope it stays that way.
