Hi All,
Thank you for all the feedback with previous beta version.
Following is release candidate Comodo Internet Security v11.0.0.6606 for your review and feedback:

Story so far: Last CIS stable bugged after a while during a system hang (or power down), the tray icon didn’t want to appear anymore but trying to dump a log in Task Manager gave 0 byte files, so I figured phuckit, lets try the betas.
Uninstalled everything using your uninstaller, installed the beta from over a month ago (6574?), updated it to 6580, all seemed fine for over a month.
An 6606 update popedup today, updated, restared. No tray icon. Restarted, same thing, trying to run CIS makes the system unresponsive - can’t run a single program and trying to dump a log in Task Manager asked me to wait but did nothing.
Uninstalled everything using your uninstaller, downloaded your offline installer from this post, installed, restarted, same thing - no tray icon, running CIS manually makes everything locked and trying to dump a log in Task Manager asked me to wait but did nothing and I had to reset my pc cause software restarting didn’t do anything.
Restarted, no tray icon, didn’t do anything and went on here to write this post, CIS message just appreared that it detected a crash and wants me to sent a report but since I’ve got a way too slow connection might as well 7zip these files and up them on mega along with Taks Manager’s dump files…
Just upgraded to this RC version and I spotted a bug.
I launched a scan of my C: drive (via context menu) and after 25% I choose “Send to background” and the scan practically disappeared. Where should I find it? I don’t think this is the expected behaviour.
Hi pykko,
When you close a running task, you shall see a message as shown in enclosed snap that it is going to run in background and how you can access it.
Hi ghostza,
We have not been able to produce it. There are some code refactoring changes we have likely to go in next hot-fix, we shall see if you still able to produce it.
Just tried it, all seems fine. Not only did it run CIS right after installing it (forgot to mention that 6606 couldn’t even open CIS nor gave a prompt to restart) asking me all the usuall questions, it loaded fine after restart.
This started with the Beta and now goes on with the RC. After very startup I have a lot of items in the unrecognized files pending analysis . This happens over four different PC’s with the RC or Beta on it.
Oh, yes, this, completely forgot about it but exactly this happened on my PC with the 6580 beta. Random - obviously safe - files I have on my PC for years now kept getting listed as unrecognized and I had to select all manually and choose trusted but every day a random number of files got listed again and again.
Mine has been doing the same and this the latest stable version not the beta or this RC, odd to see it still happening, mine are Steam games and a 150 other files. Even when putting them as trusted they come back.
Yes a visual bug when applications go longer than a day since the last time they were executed will show them as unrecognized in the file list, but once you execute them again they will go back to being safe. But the widget counter will stay the same until you launch a new executable that is not already in the file list.
