I am still using a combinatoin of Avast 7 home edition and Comodo 5.10, with comodo’s antivirus and sandbox disabled. Frankly, these two departments still… short of being great. Anyway, using Comodo and Avast side by side is like having the best of both world, like… a marriage made in heaven? lol
On 20th October 2011 egemen told me that CIS 6 was in alpha stage.
wow so i wonder if they have been doing bug fixes and modifications since then.
that would make sense tho since Melih said last year that the time frame was september then it changed

i still wonder if v6 is going to have a new AV engine or major modifications.

I think that all Comodo really needs is more signatures maybe CCE integrated into their product and an advanced disinfection technology and a awesome rescue disk!

So what Im really looking forward to in V6 is the new scanning speeds, UI, and VK.
However, I would love to see a feature where I can download signatures to the rescue disk via the CIS UI since Im using a wireless connection and internet is not possible for me while in the rescue disk.
When CIS on Windows 8? 
There is a beta version of CIS for Win 8. It is based on v5.8. Version 6 will also support Win 8.
