I share your frustration fOrTy_7. But there is only so much a developer can do in a day. Pls bear with us, we have been listening to all and delivering unparalleled security to you all. Have some faith in our ability to be able to prioritize bugs and fix them accordingly. No developer wants to release s/w with bugs. So we are all wishing the same thing and working towards the same goal.
Does the “Automatically look-up for/submit the pending/unrecognized programs online to COMODO for analysis” setting in the Sandbox configuration send a copy of the files in My Pending Files to CIMA for analysis or somewhere else for approval?
If it sends to CIMA, is this necessary if you have CAV installed?
If the box is checked, how often does CIS send the files (hourly, daily, etc.)?
Once sent, why aren’t they removed from the My Pending Files list?
As i see, The old way of setup was very easy to download, this web interface one is complicated for me, Can i get Direct download link to download CIS 4 latest version, if yes provide me that direct link please.
I would also like to stress that I would have much preferred seeing 2-3 more betas over a hasty final release. As it stands, the sandbox especially feels more than a little unfinished… It would be especially nice to have a way to visually check which programs are being run sandboxed at any given time, so that it’s a little bit easier to try to figure out why something may or may not be working.
Agreed, we need to be able to recognize which programs are being run in the sandbox.
I was trying to play a game on steam and it wouldn’t work correctly. Finally I disabled the sandbox and restarted. It worked fine after that. I’m assuming that some component of it was being run in the sandbox and that was my problem.
We need a way to be able to identify which files are being run in the sandbox.
When terminated the “My Pending Files/waiting for your review” function in CIS4? This is a very annoying thing!!!
Other security programs work without it, as Threatfire.
When I enabled any applications in D+, but it sometimes does not allow work because the
“My Pending files” catch my applications. Therefore freeze games, other programs. :-TD :-TD
I want to download and install CIS for a friend 32 bit XP while I am running 64-bit Windows 7. Friend has no internet or very slow internet. New on line installer will not let me do it.
We really need an option to download specific offline installers.
Yes I know but it’s a superfluous and annoying operation!
And does not always work this CIS function.
A good example of this GTA IV. I can only start the game if the D+ is permanently
disabled…
