Today I will be testing for the first time CIS. The problem I was having with my virtual machines has now been solved and will be hiting on it hard as hell!!!
Will give my tremendous honest feedback quite soon. But don’t expect me to be too harsh, as it is impossible, for we’re talking about Comodo.
Ok, already tested it for a bit, and I find it quite stable so far. I tested along side with eset nod32 3.0. Both CIS and NOD32 3.0 with active protection on. No resource hog of what so ever. Will add extra security tools with AP on as well, and see how it goes.
I just have one suggestion as you may see on the image attached
I must say that I really am enjoing CIS. Now we the network defense part we may click in the number of outgoing and incoming connections, and more other few new features. Really neat.
I truly consider CIS, at this stage, more like a new CFP with a better Defense+ mechanism. I mean, CFP v3.0, which has Defese+, also allows us to check the system for viruses and other malware, and according to some thread I saw some time ago it is based on cav3 search engine and same definitions. So, I guess that CIS is CFP with an enhanced D+, which gives us more options than the D+ in CFP v3.
Just hoping that this new release (firewall component) will allow us to import and export IPs, domains, etc blocklists and that it does that without placing such entries on the Windows registry. :THNK
