This is a problem with servers not with CIS. You’re also from my side of the Atlantic Ocean and on the same branch of the CDN so I assumed other countries in Western Europe were also not having issues.
I was wondering if others on the other side of the Atlantic, South and North America, are are also seeing issues with download speed. And it seems liosant is not alone.
i just pointed out what happens in my case but its not an issue for me. just letting you guys know its not an isolated situation, the bandwidt limitation.
This is of course a shame for liosant, because Brazil is not one of the countries with fast Internet connections. According to a world map the Netherlands and Germany dropped out of the list of the 10 countries with fast I-connections.
Cis is then problem with the download for a long time.
There is still a problem with the icon. If you disable the firewall or antivirus module and then turn it on, a cross remains on the icon as if they were turned off. In order for the icon to become normal, you must reboot the interface.
In the first case, you need to disable database scanning in the update settings.
In the latter case, may be helps a disabling auto-updates before scans by itself in the settings of the scan modes (for manual and fast scanning).
Oh, I didn’t mean unsafe, I just meant that I wasn’t sure if CIS should be performing automated AV scans and AV signature updates when the AV is disabled.
Just to add comments and feedback on the new beta:
12.2.6938 is working well for me too on my two Win 10 x64 (18363.476) systems. (12.1.6914 was as well, unusually - seems like many 1909 Win 10 users had issues with it).
To get the beta update we had to change the Host file. To get AV signature updates we have undo the changes in the Hosts file which in turn will cause what you noticed.
Edit: Website databases not being downloaded may actually be a temporary issue. I booted from 1809 to 1909 after an hour and on 1909 website databases did update. The updates for programs and recognizers were not available and that is what I expect when being on beta.
