Thanks Shane - will test it out :-TU

Clean install and running well. Only problem so far is the inability to install KillSwitch. Giving Error 5 Access is denied for some odd reason

Virtual Desktop OK - will test more tomorrow

Edit: Fixed the KillSwitch issue by copying the files from the Temp folder into CIS. Now working fine with no errors

Did Comodo remove Internet Security Essentials from this version?
It’s only unavailable when upgrade from previous version.

Congrats for this new release, runs smoothly here.

Will there be a link for Firewall standalone offered?

no luck here , does not integrate with windows security and cis runs cpu 100%
win 1909.418

Tried two times . Run uninstall tool - installed * 2

What? :o :o :o

After installing the beta version of the PC freezes. Did a rollback.
Win 10 1909 (418) x64

  • An alert is now shown that reboot is required if >Clipboard Protection settings< are changed.

is this comodo settings or windows settings

sorry guys. cant test it this time. but im happy to see a new beta. great!!!

Just hoping the issues with 1909 are fixed before the 1909 update becomes official next month.

Version 6882 on Windows 1909 x64 works great. :-TU A beta version bad :-TD

Windows messaging on every start that their Firewall is not active (which it isn’t) and shows that no other Firewall is active (which Comodo is). Nothing shows in Diagnostics and no other errors apparent

Ploget…did you disable windows firewall or did Comodo?

The new CIS RC didn’t disable it as previous versions have. After a while I turned it off myself knowing that CIS is functioning as it should. Ignore the message once and it doesn’t reappear

I may well try another clean install tomorrow to see what happens after a complete ‘official’ uinstall

Thank you Ploget

“service microsoft defender antivirus” not disable (boot slowdown);
system guard alert “microsoft antivirus” disable;
this may induce the user to enable windows defender protection and slow down the PC

Further completely clean install and no change in the Security Centre messages on every start that their Firewall is not active (which it isn’t) and shows that no other Firewall is active (which Comodo is). Nothing shows in Diagnostics and no other errors apparent

Still the KillSwitch install Error 5 - Access Denied

Tried it as an upgrade (just to see), but all it did was uninstall 6882 and then nothing further, although that could well be due to the fact I use a RAM Drive for my Temp folder on this test system and nothing would remain after a reboot to continue the upgrade!

Reinstalled 6882 for the time being which gets on famously with the Security Centre

CIS won’t get registered or recognized as being installed in WDSC because Windows prevents the cmdagent protected service from starting. For some reason Windows can not verify the digital signature that cmdagent is signed with even though the digital signature tab in file properties reports that the digital signature is OK. Open up services and try to manually start the cmdagent protected service to see the error message.

Another issue is the option to allow contained applications access to the clipboard does not go into affect, even after the required reboot when you enable the setting under containment settings.

Am a bit surprised that the build is mentioned as 64 bit. Is CIS 2019 12.1.x going to be 64 bit only? Can anyone comment?

From Shane’s initial message?
