We are pleased to announce that Comodo Internet Security 2019 v12.0.0.6850 RC is now available for download and testing.

Setup Details:
In order to install online setups, please ensure you have following entries in Windows hosts (c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts) file:

Changes:

  • Issues where WMI errors are present in Windows Logs.
  • Defect where DMP of cmdinstall appears in CisDumps after installation CIS on Win 7
  • Defect where exporting of alerts event logs is saved using escaped html tags
  • Added secondary offer screen during setup.
  • Defect where Check box “Scan computer memory after the computer start” became unchecked after Settings window re-opening.

If you want to install just the Firewall or just the Antivirus, you can select these from the Options screen during setup.

Our next few releases will focus 100% on product performance, quality and stability.

We’ve issued a very minor update build 6862 with the only change being a minor internal change to the setup that does not address any users bugs or add any new features.

I can’t install, installer show error 404. I have internet connection. Only installer make problem.

Read the post again, it explains what you need to do for it to install, there is nothing wrong with the installer.

If you want to install just the Firewall or just the Antivirus, you can select these from the Options screen during setup.
No it doesn't allow you to only install the firewall as there is no check box to un-select the AV.

Installed as an update t0 12.0.0.6818

No problems with the update and running well. Had hoped for a fix to the HIPS logging Memory Access bug, but not this time I guess

We don’t have an offiline installer for this version at this time.

Regarding the inability to only install the firewall, this looks like a missed issue. Reported to the dev teams.

The issue has been fixed in development and is in QA.

The next couple of releases will be 100% focused on fixing all these type of issues and improving performance using independent tests labs like AV-Test.

Cannot install with the online installer since the low connecting speed in China.

Online installers suck of course, but we found msi packs x32 x64. >:-D

I don’t think it is specific to this build but virusscope recognizers do not work for contained applications.

I installed it on Windows 10 1809 and 1903 with no issues at first sight.

Same here . . I did a reinstall for an unrelated network issue and the download link at the start is now giving the 6862 version
