Hello, even if i do not answer at each post i want you to know that i’m reading all of them. At the moment i have little to no information about IceDragon’s future , i will inform you when a decision has bean made whatever it will be , 2020 has been a tough year for our development team and we are trying to do our best.

How’s the IceDragon development going ?
An update, I’ll believe it when I see it. How long has it been and nothing. Yes, the virus and all that but what version is Firefox up to now? Time goes on and Ice Dragon gets more and more unusable and unsafe. People that used it and liked it as an alternative have most likely moved on or will as the months continue to roll by and nothing changes. Unfortunately there are no real good choices out there now. Ice Dragon is dead, they need to just say it.

is there any benefit to using Comodo Ice Dragon?As of July 22, 2021 The current Firefox is version 90. Ice dragon is 25 versions behind the current Firefox. I personally don't see the benefit in keeping Ice dragon until a new version comes out. Its way too far behind. They need to update Ice Dragon or pull the plug on it.

There is no benefit to use IceDragon! No security fix for since June 2019.
Use Firefox with some privacy tweaks & security add-ons. It is better.
Little bit of topic but use Firefox Hardening Guide
I suggest “L1” tweaks only. Even after those little tweaks you will get better privayc & security than CID.
Nobody can love IceDragon more than me but here we are. CID seems abondoned & users need secure core browser as Comodo advertise.
