Got it by auto-update, thanks ! Option to disable sponsored links appreciated. However,
I can’t stress with enough force how much we want to be able to increase/customize the number of icons (links) on that same ‘newtab’ page ! Also, the fake search-bar on same newtab is taking real estate for no reason whatsover : please allow it to be removed, at the same time increase the size of individual icons/links on the ‘newtab’ tab.
Thanks again for listening to us humble users (sometimes)…

Thats weird,
Assuming your not using a business computer (If its business operated , then ask for IT for help). If your a home user and not playing around with the Local Group Policy Editor , Follow this link below, I never seen this issue before so I cant guarantee it will work for you https://www.thewindowsclub.com/chrome-managed-by-your-organization
When I try to update from the browser itself, it tells me a new version is available, version 73.0.3683.75. Thus attempting an update in this manner initiates an endless loop of download…restart browser…download…restart browser.
I am from the Netherlands and downloaded both the installers and got the correct versions.
The problem seems to the with the CDN branch of the Americas.
Shane, there is also a problem with downloads from CIS in North America reported in release topic. The problems might be related; Metheni has responded to this.
Please clear the browser cache and let us know if the issue still persists.
I have the browser set to clear all history when I close it.
The issue still persists.

This I very much agree with. It would appear as though all of the servers have not been updated.
Next, I navigated to comodo.com, scrolled to the bottom of the home page, and clicked on firedragon to download. The link:
Clicking on the link gave me version 73.0.3683.75 (64 bit), which I already have.
It came with the free firewall, version 12.0.0.6818.
When I open Dragon browser, it shows me version 73.0.3683.75 is available.
That is the version I am running.
The browser cache was cleaned before I attempted this.
I suppose that I should mention that the download attempts from the above links were done from IceDragon, version 64.0.4.15 (64bit)
I am running Windows 10, Version 1903, Build 18362.175
My IP, ironically, is 73.xxx.xxx.xxx.
Should you need the exact IP, please contact me directly.
Thank you, your post confirmed that download problem with Comodo Dragon browser from the US is still not fixed.
We have reported it to the corresponding team to recheck this issue.
