I assume this applies to the windows 7 firewall also.
I currently have comodo firewall installed and windows firewall turned off in the control panel.
Are you saying that the windows firewall service cannot be disabled at all.??
What problems will occur if the service is disabled.?
When I used 7 I disabled the Windows firewall service with no problems.
However in Windows 8 the firewall “service” does more than just act as a firewall. Disabling the Windows 8 Firewall service will prevent Metro apps from updating and functioning properly.
