We are happy to announce that COMODO Cloud Scanner 1.0.134196.8 Public Release is available for download.

What’s fixed:

  • Random crashes on win 7 32bit
  • Issue with submit all button, not sending all the files to CIMA
  • GUI flickers when maximizing on 120 DPI
  • Small GUI issues

Known Issues:

  • Rarely CCS crashes when scanning and closing the application before completing
  • GUI flickers when maximizing
  • Small GUI issues

Would a Staff member be able to tell us if you plan to include .sys and .dll for analysis in the future released versions, I so hope you do! ;D

But when I submit them it says ‘Unable To Analyse’ and most of my Asus ones say ‘Not Present In Signature Database’, anyway to resolve this?

Hello,

‘Not present in signature database’ means the file is not malware. We will check those which have ‘Unable to Analyze’ and resolve the problem.

Congratulations on the public release :).

I have been so used to the .? updates, I assumed .8 was another beta release. Keep up the great work on this product and can’t wait to see what might be added in future builds.

I have installed it and run it and than it came up with a lot thats not malware but just normal software. Then there is no button that says fix my problems. I don’t see the use when I cant solve the found items. Do I mis something? ???

This tool is only meant to act as a diagnostic utility. It does not have the capability to clean an infection,remove files, or clean the registry.

The idea is to let the user know of any potential problems so that they are now aware of them and can now either take care of it themselves or take advantage of the free 30 day trial of Comodo livePC Support to solve the problems.

Apparently COMODO Cloud Scanner finds registry problems (ALOT of registry problems 88)) that are near impossible to correct. The CSC basically does nothing to help. Anyway, I apparently have over 1,400 “issues” on my PC. This is after I corrected quite a few… :frowning:

This should be a task for System Cleaner!
If system cleaner does not catch this than what is the use for it? A program that traces but does not clean, and a cleaner that does it’s job half because it traces bad. :-\
