Comodo Cleaning Essentials 1.1.174294.27 BETA Ready!

Great. Thanks for fast reaction. When 10000 people was starting to use CCE… i understand this…
thanks melih

Thank you for this Christmas present Melih. That makes us techies happy… :■■■■ (:KWL)

Just malwaredomainlisted it… And this thing rocks!!! There’s nothing that can withstand killswitch!!! :-TU :-TU :-TU
Just tried it against some hardcore rogues, this thing KILLS it!
Verdict on safe files is lightning fast, sometimes 5 or more analysing at a time and declaring it safe, but on malware, it’s not that fast, there is a delay… But this thing gives so much control, so much freedom!!! :-TU
My respect to the devs for this, it is so beautiful!!! :-TU :-TU :-TU

Nice read, thnx Melih. You just cannot stop break even life of AV industry in its current view

I invented the idea  (so i will take credit for that)…and Doskey’s team under Egemen’s supervision implemented it…so the credit goes to them on that!

This thing is just too powerful…i am just loving it

bring me infected PCs pls…having too much fun with this…click, click…kill…done…next pls…

I suspect that it was a legitimate file of Atrise Lutcurve. Not sure, but lutloader.exe is the only unknown process on my PC ant it belongs to Lutcurve - Color Monitor Calibration Software for Photographers, Videographers and Designers
Still analysing…
Here you can see the used AV engines>>>

p.s. Thank you for not answering to me! Happy Holidays!

When we infect a PC with a virus and it spawns multiple processes, is it enough to “Terminate Tree” on each of them or “Terminate” one by one?

or just use ’ terminator ’ the process have no chances to survive.(:

Thanks for the tip!!!

Very powerful tool, I infected virtual PC with malwares from MDL. KillSwitch was able to kill them all.
And KS has so many nice features, love it. Thanks to Melih and everyone at Comodo! Thanks for giving this wonderful program to us for free.

The life becomes sooooooo very easy for cleaning malware with KillSwitch…I just LOOOOVE KillSwitch…I really really do!!!

Thank you kindly GakunGak!

KillSwitch is truly an amazing product that will help us fight the battle against infected PCs

If it weren’t for christmas eve and christmas day, I would be putting it the test with a big sack of malware. I’m going to save my stuff on dvd and delete with overwrite anything important and infect the living ■■■■ out of this computer Im using (No virtual machine or sandbox (except comodo sandbox)

By the way, if it does miss something like CCS doesn’t find it. How do we report it??

A BIG FAT CHECK, my man!
This is so going into my flash drive with other cleaning tools!
And this tools is gonna be my first line of offense, with CIS being the first line of defense!
I’m suited for full spectrum IT warfare, BRING IT! :P0l

[at]Melih: You know what I would like? When integrating with CIS, give it an option to run it before installation so that we could clean it and then install CIS.
And make a new tab in CIS for this one, for easy navigation.
Other than this, basically everything’s pretty much covered!

EDIT: Now finished cleaning, asked me to restart twice, once for rootkit scan and second to verify everything is removed and it is! And is fast too!!! This thing just works!

lets put it in the wishlist…good point…not sure if its covered…but doesn’t hurt to create a wishlist for CCE and put it in there pls…
thanks

We are thinking about running scanning before we install CIS …
but dealing with Cleaning is not an average user thing…:frowning:
