A problem that persists since BETA 4:

I used to use Full Sync Backup of several folders onto removable HDD.
Before BETA 4 everything was fine and the source folders were sync-copied into %TARGET%\backup_full_files

However, since BETA 4 I get an error:
Only one item can be synchronized.
Backup failed with code 33 (Invalid request).

Synchronization of one folder does not return this error.

BETA 3 worked perfectly and much quicker than previous versions

I am getting the same sync message as conxt.

Also I am being asked to input a time interval for “Real time Sync” back ups. See attached.

Vista (fully patched) and Windows 7 (fully patched.
CIS
Macrium reflect free
NTFS
UAC off

Uninstalling on Vista, CBU causes computer start up problems. Had to reload Macrium image to get back working again.

Hi

Can you please create a debug file? https://forums.comodo.com/news-announcements-feedback-cb/how-to-collect-debug-information-t63958.0.html
This would help us determine the cause of the issue.

Thanks

I can’t get a debug file to appear after following the recommended steps. [note: I did un-install the online storage component as I do not use that]. I also went into the \Program Files\Comodo\Comodo BackUp directory and typed (without ") CBU.exe /enabledebug, reproduced problem, CBU.exe /dumpdebugcontent but still nothing. I may be missing something obvious, any suggestions?

Are you running UAC?
If so are you running the command-box in ‘Run as administrator’ mode? it might be causing permission issues here.

re: error 3: Not Enough Memory

Debug attached.

Thanks; with respect to getting the dump, it was the UAC problem.

I wasn’t running the main CBU.exe process as administrator. I have changed that to “Run as Administrator” and wil test this whole process again from scratch. Please hold off on diagnosing the problem until I can reproduce the problem.

It’s getting further but crashing at the end of the incremental now, please see the attached screenshot and debug.
