CIS 2025 is now LIVE!

So is it worth using Secure Shopping or it is already useless?

If it’s working without issue for youfor now, then great. Just not a product they provide support for.

As EricCryptid said, Melih confirmed that Comodo is not longer supporting Secure Shopping; therefore it was removed from the latest version of CIS. The reason why this decision was made would need to come from Comodo staff (if they wish to make this information public).

On my Windows 10 system, the most recent version of Comodo secure shopping does run without crashing. However, based on my tests, it does not protect/isolate information on the clipboard (things placed on the clipboard in secure shopping, can still be accessed on the desktop, and vise versa). It appears that secure shopping still protects from screen shots (when screen shot is taken in secure shopping, the window contents are blanked). Given the fact that secure shopping has not been updated for years, that is no longer supported, and the new CIS was not designed to work with secure shopping, I am not confident that secure shopping can effectively accomplish its original intent anymore (but, i don’t know this for sure…maybe its most crucial functions still work well?).

Why don’t employees come here? They would answer the question that is tormenting us.

8.1 is not supported?

Friend, I believe it is no longer supported, as the message states…

I feel even better with CSS. It’s a closed work environment, like a protective suit.
Maybe just habit.

So it wasn’t just the date that was changed, as suspected.

According to a PM with staff, CIS 2025 does not currently support TUN traffic. Some questions to ponder. Shouldn’t this thread be pinned as the BETA was? What about bug fixes? And when/why did this release transition from CIS 2024 to CIS 2025? What are the odds that they have more than one programmer working on this project? Is CIS 2025 actually still BETA? When is the next release due? Perhaps 2025 is when they expect to have it more or less finished.

I’m with the same thing I’m wondering about and beyond.
Unfortunately COMODO was not informed of the list of bugs and fixes.
The Changelog has not been posted, as all the forums have been modified.
Cool no look.

I’m considering buying CIS, is the new version 12.3.3.8140 stable? or better than 12.2.4.8032 which is the one I have. 12.2.4.8032 Has this weird detection of a CIS file as unrecognize, would like to know if new version fixes it.

I had this same problem, I’m still waiting for a response from the COMODO TEAM.

For the second time this week the Files List, Submitted Files list, and Vendor List are empty.
All other lists and settings are OK.
Anyone else seen this?
They came back after a reboot the first time.
Any ideas as to cause?

EDIT… Happened again today. Was ok at first then they became blank.

Hello,
Just now, The file list seemed to go blank for me also.
But, what seems to have happened is that the “show files” option at the top of the file list screen was somehow reset to “non-executable”…which causes most or all of the files on the list to be hidden.
When i set the “show files” option to “All types” and to “Quarantined and not quarantined”, all my files appeared in the list again.
I have no idea why this is happening (maybe a side effect from a recent database update?). For me, CIS remembers the setting after i have changed it to “All types”. So, hopefully just setting the file type will resolve the issue.

@C.O.M.O.D.O_RT … maybe this can be shared with the developer team to see what happened?

Thanks. That’s not the cause for me unfortunately, I already looked at that.
I deleted my 7GB+ cmddata file (WTF!) and rebooted. Did a scan and all OK at the moment.

So using the new “free” Comodo 2025 Pro when I get a message saying my trial is up and I need subscribe to continue using the software??

Just answered my own question. I had somehow managed to download the online installer for Pro intead of Premium as in - cispro_installer instead of cispremium_installer. I had no clue, there were different versions?

Using the “Premium” installer told me it would upgrade, but happily it downgraded to the Premium version.

we know that CIS has several bugs.

Which bugs are you experiencing? I haven’t really had any issue apart from the uploading of unknowns like you have though I never have many that are unknowns on my PC.
