Yes, it was around the net for a while. But it is updated for the service packs. It is useful especially for people that don’t know much about services.

I am now giving up vLite:
Every single time I try, I always get an error saying that hal.dll is missing. Every time, except when I don’t remove anything. Whether I remove languages or Speech, it always does that.

Are you sure you haven’t deleted any of vLite .ini files ? I have ALL the languages removed except Lithuanian and it works fine.

No matter how I tried to remove, my vista still takes 3.42 GB 
But I’m quite content with that … only 700 MB more than XP Pro SP3
Still, the 256 of my memory has bean eaten by Vista (which is only 90 MB for XP)

vLited Vista is okay. XP will soon be a thing of the past.
It sure will, as MS stops patching it and software makers stop supporting it… it’ll take a while though. Until then I have no reason at all to stop using XP, except in the case of buying a new PC with OEM Windows Vista or Seven (which most likely will happen before MS stops XP hotfixes).
If I ever get Vista I’ll probably bump this thread.
